I was intimidated by how many pieces this stool has, but actually it was quite easy to assemble. It came with everything needed to put it together, and assembly took me around 30 minutes. The part that took the longest was securing the seat cushion to the rest of the stool. There are about 6 screws that go into the bottom of the seat cushion, and it's difficult to get the stool in the correct place so that all the screws will go in through the metal loops in the frame and into the bottom of the seat. I recommend treating it like changing a tire on your car. Once you get the screws in the holes through the metal loops in the frame, tighten them each into the seat a little bit at a time in turn, that way you can make little adjustments to the stool's position relative to the seat as you go. Don't tighten one all the way, then move on to the next one. You might get stuck with the stool frame in the wrong position to get all the screws in. So at least in my experience, tightening them a little bit at a time will yeild the easiest results. This stool is bar height, which is perfect for my kitchen. It's easy to get into the seat without feeling like I'm going to tip it over, and the cushion is firm yet comfortable. The foot rest bar is also in a comfortable position for me, and I'm 5'6. When I sit on the stool, I feel that it's very stable and feels high quality. I'm super pleased with this seat, and I would be comfortable with guests sitting in it, knowing that it won't fall apart or fall over while they're using it. This was definitely a great choice for my kitchen, and I think it would make a great addition to any kitchen with a bar countertop. ... show more

I am VERY pleased with this bar stool. It is elegant, beautiful and solidly made. Super easy to put together, it hold up well and looks great. The seat is wide and comfortable, and the added foot bar is really nice. I got the taller stool but also needed a lower one. So I now have two, in black and brown, and different sizes. Both are terrific. No flaws in workmanship, legs or seat. They even provide extra screws if needed. They give you all the hardware you need (no searching for a screwdriver) and this took me a very short time to put together. The legs fit securely into the two base/main pieces, and the seat on top with 6 screws to hold into place. I'm not typically a barstool fan, but these -- I love! This bar stool has actually served in a different manner for my needs but truthfully has been a very nice addition to my home. I wanted to have an additional seat for guests to sit when there's an abundant amount of friends and family staying over. Having an additional seat under one of my slim hallway tables allowed for a stylish touch while being useful for taking a seat. The build quality of the stool feels very premium to the touch and of course, the overall look comes off to be modern or rustic depending on the theme of a home. The seat is very oft to the touch and is extremely comfortable to sit on especially given that there's a foot rest built into the design/structure. This barstool was very easy to put together and is very attractive. The seat cushion is thick and is very comfortable to sit on. This is the brown 30" model, which is tall compared to the 24" model, so sitting on it at a standard breakfast nook, as pictured, will have the average person positioned pretty high above the surface. The barstool is sturdy and the footrest is welded to the frame so it should last. The footpads, which make contact with the floor, are made of a firm but non-scratch rubber, so the barstool moves across a vinyl floor surface relatively silently. The footpads are also adjustable and can be easily regulated to eliminate any rocking. Recommended! ... show more

I got this as I needed just one more stool for my counter but I didn't pay attention to the dimensions and it was waaaay too tall. Not anyones fault but my own though. The cushion is pretty comfortable and the material makes it so you can wipe away messes easily and it's nice there is a foot rest. The assembly wasn't terribly complicated. the only complaint I have, is when opening the packaging and getting everything out, there was a bunch of sawdust that came out with this. I'm not sure why as the stool isn't even wood. So I had a mess to clean up but didn't affect the functionality of the chair any. Ultimately I won't be using this but hopefully this helps someone else when deciding whether or not to buy it. ... show more

Sadly when I opened the box the pieces came out covered with this dirty rust like substance all over them, which got all over my hands. After wiping down all of the pieces I was able to assemble. The installation was very simple and quick, and once put together it does look very nice. Just be careful when opening the box. 4 stars! ... show more

This bar stoll is very nice. It was quite easy to assemble however when adding the seat to the metal, she of the holes didn't line up. I did make sure that the ones that did fit were tightened as much as possible. The stool is not wiggly and the seat part does not move despite 2 screws not fitting. All in all, I do recommend this product. ... show more
