Background: Having just spent $25,000 remodeling my outside desk, my wife and I decided it was time to replace the furniture as well. We went through the patio shops and looked at all of the furniture and we weren't impressed with the quality vs. price. Just for kicks, I decided to see what was available on Amazon and I'm so glad we did! Result: We love it, and so do our friends and neighbors. We would buy it again, and I do recommend it to anyone looking for furniture in the $800-1500 price range. Pros: FAST delivery - we ordered on Wednesday at 10:30 PM, and it was delivered in full by 8:00 AM Saturday. Easy to assemble if you've ever assembled any furniture previously. No hardware issues - nothing missing, nothing stripped, everything fit properly. Sturdy construction - not rickety at all. Cushions - firm and comfortable. Fabric - sturdier than typical outdoor furniture. I would say the upholstery is on par with interior furniture. Generous sizing - plenty of room on every chair and each seat on the sofa. We purchased this patio set a few weeks back. The assembly wasn’t hard - but did require a socket wrench. I assembled the 6-pieces single handed over a period of 3 days - maybe an hour each day, if that. And I’m certainly not the handiest guy out there. But having a second person can help, especially in aligning the backrest holes to the chair frames. The cushion covers look just the right color, and after putting the inserts, they don’t look thin. We’ve sat on the chairs, and they feel ok. But again, please note that we are yet to start using the set. It has been raining everyday - so the set sits under cover right now. That’s also why I took off one Star - ideally the set should have provided weather-proof covers for each piece. Buying that separately added another $200 or so to the cost. I recently purchased patio furniture from Amazon, and I must say I am thoroughly disappointed with my experience. From start to finish, this purchase was riddled with dissatisfaction. Firstly, the assembly process was an absolute nightmare. The furniture took an unnecessarily long time to put together, and the instructions provided were confusing and poorly written. It felt like a frustrating puzzle that I never signed up for. Furthermore, the quality of the cushions was extremely disappointing. The material used was of poor quality, and it felt uncomfortable and cheap. It's a shame that the cushions, which are supposed to provide comfort and relaxation, ended up being a major letdown. To make matters worse, when I realized how dissatisfied I was with this purchase, I wanted to return the furniture. However, the return process was either non-existent or overly complicated, leaving me with no option but to keep the subpar patio furniture. Overall, I cannot stress enough how unsatisfied I am with this purchase. The combination of the cumbersome assembly, confusing instructions, poor quality cushions, and lack of a reasonable return policy has left me with a sour taste in my mouth. I would not recommend this patio furniture to anyone in search of a reliable, comfortable, and hassle-free outdoor seating solution. I researched for a long time before choosing a set for our back porch. This set is great! Arrived well packaged with no damage. It was relatively easy to assemble. The instructions just have pictures, no words. The cushions are comfy to sit on, but I wish the back cushions were a little thicker.
