For a first hammock, I am extremely happy. This summer (2020), all of the local stores were sold out of hammocks. Looking on-line, most retailers were, too. I found this hammock and decided to give it a try. At the time I bought it, it was $199, with free shipping, so I figured it would be worth the chance. Everything arrived in one long, fairly skinny box. Opening the box, I was relieved to see the nothing was zip ties, wire tied or taped together. It took about 30 seconds to remove the packing materials. Assembly was simple and intuitive. Just snap 3 tubes to the feet, attach the hammock, tie the pillow to the hammock frame, and you are done. Less than 5 minutes from unboxing to fully assembled. The hammock stand is study and doesn’t feel like it is going to fall apart. Two full grown people can get on it, and it still seems stable. I’m giving this a 5 star rating, due to its overall ease of assembly, sturdiness and price. My only complaint would be that the hammock seems to stretch too much. When you get on, you will almost bottom out unless the hammock is tightened all the way. But, that is minor. Overall, I love this hammock, and so does my wife. ... show more

First, I'll say I absolutely love the hammock! It's my first time owning one and I went with this one for the openness (I'm claustrophobic and didn't want to risk the other ones that cocoon you) and because it claims it's a 2 person hammock (with a capacity of course). Assembly was a breeze and all the pieces went together perfectly. The color was true to the photos. My biggest annoyance with this item is upon OPENING the package and before even laying on it, almost every single circle that the rope was already tried through, looks like it is ripping from the hammock itself (look at the pic attached). This makes me feel that it will not last long at all, especially if I want to use it every day. I am not a hefty woman and neither is my 12 year old daughter, but just HER laying on it, I can see it pulling at those loops. We do not have it on the tightest o-ring either. ... show more

I was super excited to purchase this hammock because of the good reviews. There were a couple of positives- One: It was easy to put together. 2: It was nice looking. I used it twice and my daughter used it once before it broke. My daughter and son-in-law were on the hammock together. Total they weigh 340 pounds together. That should not have been a problem for the hammock's weight limit of 450 pounds. They were laying on the hammock relaxing when the bolt hook broke. This caused them to slam head first into the deck. This hammock stand is dangerous and could have resulted in serious head trauma. I would not recommend purchasing this item. ... show more

This hammock is comfortable once you figure out how to get on it.The wooden ends had a few scratches and the stitching is loose in a few different areas.The frame appears sturdy,the hammock itself flips up side down quite frequently when its windy out.The pillow is a nice touch.

This was so easy to put together, it literally took 5 minutes. It's so much fun to say back and forth in it, but it does need to be anchored to the ground with something. The first small storm that rolled through and it moved about four feet, the only reason it stopped moving is because it ran into the poles of our gazebo. Other than that it's great! ... show more
