Extremely happy with my purchase. Very sturdy metal frame with comfortable padding. Easy to assemble. Looks beautiful. Just one thing I learned the hard way: the cushion has a couple of pairs of ties to tie it to the chair. Don’t do what I did and tie it first, then get on it to find the most comfortable position (make sure the cushion is in the best position then tie it). Because the connection between ties and the cushion is fragile, and I heard a loud pop signifying that one of the ties had torn right off the cushion. The seller (Anna at canable store) was incredibly generous and sent me a replacement cushion immediately, I highly highly recommended them. Update: I live on the 14th floor of a high-rise condo building, and somehow a freak massive gust of wind sent one of these onto the 10th story pool level below. The metal frame/support is HEAVY so no idea how it was possible, but it happened. If you have any doubt as to the quality and sturdiness of the materials, the chair is still in perfect condition and the metal frame/support has only a few small scratches after a 4 story fall onto concrete.

Adds a lot to our little deck in terms of coziness. Very solidly-built. Easy to put together which is good because the directions were pretty terrible. I took one look and threw them out TBH. As others have noted, the base is huge and should be accounted for when fitting into small spaces. But that’s just the nature of this type of hanging egg chairs: you need a large, sturdy base for it to be safe. Overall, I’m really happy with it. The pics in reviews (including mine) don’t do it justice—it’s much prettier in person.

Gift for my teen granddaughter—she loves it. She’s about 5’3” and weighs about 100lbs. Fits her well with room to cross her legs while setting. Nice addition to her bedroom. She finds the swinging motion relaxing. Good construction and easy to assemble. .

I love my new chair! It’s so soothing and relaxing to sit in and rock back and forth. I ordered this one, out of the many options on Amazon, because not only was it on sale but the price of shipping was included in the price. It was delivered about a week ahead of schedule also. Everything was exceptionally well packaged. There was a lot of plastic wrap, bubble wrap and heavy duty zip ties wrapped around the chair. Nothing was scratched or dented, which was much appreciated. It did take me a good 20 minutes just to get the chair out of the packaging and I worked up a sweat. Then I discovered that they forgot to include instructions and the safety strap. I did find a video on YouTube showing someone building the exact egg chair that I got, which was massively helpful. Basically, you put the bottom base piece on its side. Then you push the 4 feet into each of the slots, making sure to line up the holes. There are 4 small screws which you tighten partially with your fingers before tightening all the way with the included wrench. Then you put the chair upright. You attach the top piece of the stand to the base. There’s a long screw which you’re supposed to unscrew. The longer side goes in the right side of the chair while the little piece goes on the left. This screw is too long and doesn’t tighten all the way. There’s a big screw that goes in the hole at the very top of the stand. There’s a hole in the bottom of this screw. Then you have a curly screw with hooks on both ends. You hook one end to the stand and the other end to the chain. The chain has 5-6 or links. I’m an average height person and I hung it from the 2nd link. There’s a U shaped screw which is open on one end. You attach this to the seat before screwing it closed. The seat unfolds once you pick it up. Then you tie the seat and headrest to the chair. There are rubber caps that you put on the ends of the feet and at the top of the stand. It took me about 30 minutes to put this chair together by myself. This chair takes up a lot of room, especially the feet. See my pic. I like it in my living room, but I might put it outside or in my bedroom instead. This is a great buy. Highly recommendedi!

The price seemed too good to be true, when it arrived 5 days sooner than expected I was very surprised when I opened the box to assemble. The metal is very thick and sturdy and went together without issue. The only thing I wish I purchased with it was a cover to protect in the rain. It is nice that the chair easily detaches from the base to take inside. Total assembly by myself was 15 mins, 5 of that was unpacking it since it was packed and protected well.
