I've read all the reviews and was a bit discouraged before making the purchase. Most of the purchase the strings broke off and such. Not sure if these would help. Did you buy the right hardware for it. It will need an anchor plate on a ceiling and two hooks and link chain. See my pictures. This swing has been my oasis this summer. The minute you lay back, you are relaxed and never want to get up. I have spent hours laying in this swing reading, and just relaxing or even napping. It was not hard to assemble. My only concern is that it doesn't lay even.. some of the straps are shorter and therefore bare more of the weight. This wear is also showing in the stitching.. some spots bare more weight than others, and I am afraid that the seams will not hold. Overall, I love this swing and enjoy it immensely. I am hoping it will last for at least a couple of summers. I have it hanging on a covered screen porch so its not subject to sunlight and weather. I added a couple colorful pillows to mine also. ... show more

Firstly, Everything I saw made it look like there was some sort of stuffing in the bottom of the swing. Not just EMPTY with hollow poles that make a large hoolah hoop essentially & you sit on the canvas and hope (as a 120 pound woman that my hips aren’t shattered when the plastic shoes string material they’ve used to lace this thing together doesn’t snap) I haven’t had it outside for 6 months yet (& it’s under a roof so No Elements. No rain. No sun. None of that.) I don’t feel that it’s safe for anyone to try and use it at this point. The strings have started to break apart (literally DISINTEGRATES in my hand!!!?!! Don’t buy this and expect it to last longer than 2-3 months. I was so excited to have this outside for my daughter & neice who are both autistic and REALLY enjoy a swing!?!!! Love the size of this thing, my daughter wanted a bed she could swing in but nothing was big enough, until I found this! Originally I thought the product was horribly saggy but found out the poles go INSIDE to zipper not the hanging loops (so if yours is sagging- please check this lol) My daughter loves it and I recommend! ... show more

I love the color, bright. Not difficult to put together. Took about 40 mins. All attachments came with the box. I did spray a coating of rain barrier on the product, including the pillow. The cords are springy, it will sink once you sit in it. I did order a round pillow to give it more of a comfortable lay. ... show more
