i never write reviews but this time i have to. I finally purchased this product at 9 months pregnant because i couldn’t handle my dog’s incredibly high energy/anxiety and constant need for attention, worrisome panting 24/7, going in & out from outside, and ALWAYS chasing our poor cats she grew up with. She’s a wonderful dog but couldn’t calm down. i tried so many different calming treats and dumb aromas and what not , but she is smart and kept figuring out that the treats made her sleepy (from the melatonin they all have) and rejected them after two or three times. they don’t help long term they just make her sleepy & she didn’t like the feeling i assume. OKAY so when i purchased this i was so hesitant because ITS SO CHEAP? and no other ingredients besides hemp oil and different omegas??? So i tried it, and ofcourse she won’t just take the dropper, or drink all of the water i put it in, so i decided to make it a down time thing for her every night. She loves puppy ice cream and lick treats so i got those little cups you see in the picture, and made a dog- safe smoothie and portioned it out. including plain yogurt, coconut milk, peanut butter (without sugar alcohol) banana, apple, blueberry, and honey for more sweetness - and freeze. i do a full dropper but i made a half dropper bunch for if she needs a little extra randomly. when i tell you she is a completely different dog… she never excessively pants, her anxiety is like non existent, she’s not groggy she’s just calm, she is finally getting along with our orange cat who hated her the past year, and her behavior over all is better because she can manage her anxiety. AND she loves the treats, so if they made her feel bad she would connect the dots and start rejecting it no matter what. IF YOUR DOG SOUNDS LIKE MINE, GET THIS PRODUCT. I’m so so grateful to have found a life saver without breaking the bank!!!

It helps. I does not totally relieve my dogs anxiety but it helps. I am grateful for that. She is 13 years old and when it thunders, hard rain, loud noises, kids, she starts to pant and continues to pant until you think she is going to pass out. When we had to evacuate for Hurricane Harvey, she panted in a hotel room for 4+ hours. When I took the dog to my daughters home, where she has been before, she panted for 3 hours, stopped and then started again This helps, it does not stop the anxiety all the way but it is a great help!

Amazing product! Worked within mins. Our 5yr old red healer has always been a very anxious and hyperactive dog, more so than an average healer. We do live on a ranch. He has plenty to do to keep him busy but is still very whiny and barks nonstop when a vehicle is started. He cannot stay still ever. We decided to try these with him on Monday. We gave 3, less than the recommended dose for his weight. Within minutes, he was no longer, shaking, whining, no barking, and laid down without having to be told. He has not barked once! It also seems to keep him from chasing the cats as well. In just three days, it has changed five years of bad behavior, anxiety, and restlessness. I would highly recommend anyone that has dogs with any of these issues to give it a try.

I know there’s a lot of reviews that said it worked for other dogs, but it’s hard for my to believe that’s true because of my experience. I have a 12lb chihuahua Pomeranian mix and he’s 7. I do a lot of painting and he gets very needy and sad whenever I am working on my projects so I thought this would be helpful. I had really high hopes after reading the reviews but I actually feel like this had the opposite effect of what it was advertised to do. It made my baby even more needy and it actually made it more difficult for him to settle down for sleepy time. He usually takes an afternoon nap and he couldn’t even rest for that. Every time someone made the slightest of movements he had to run and see what’s going on, and he doesn’t usually bark (I know, Pom-chis have a yippy reputation but he’s very well behaved and only barks if someone rings the doorbell). In my experience it did more bad than good, since he couldn’t even take his afternoon nap and it made him so agitated you could physically see his temperament negatively changed. Again, this was only my dog’s experience, it might work differently for others but I had to share this because it made my poor baby so agitated. I really wish it would have worked for King Gerald because I have a lot of projects I was trying to get done for Christmas but it literally made my dog start crying for attention, and he never vocally cries out like he has when using this product. He kept pawing and crying for attention, more so than usual. He did love the taste of them, but I won’t let him have anymore because it made him act so different. I tried it 4 days in a row. I tried less and more than the recommendation and none of it worked for him.

I have an aging Chihuahua who often will experience the "sundowners" syndrome that elderly people with onset of dementia often display. She just gets a restless and anxious and wanders around the house aimlessly in the evening. These Hemp treats really take the edge off and relax her. The dose for her size is 3 treats, but I generally start with 1 and that is often all I need. if it is an especially rough night and 1 is not calming her, then I will give her another. I have given her the full dose, but not very often. She will sleep sounding with the full dose.
