Unlike a good percentage of the other kits available online that too often require a pot of coffee and a first aid kit... this manufacturer was kind enough to provide a decent quality hardware package including wall anchors that actually work, lock nuts, recessed bolts and a nifty little back up wrench that made cinching up the fasteners extremely simple!

I got this hanger shortly before I ended up moving and the plan was to use it to display some authentic military uniforms that’d been passed down to me. Mounting it was pretty easy, provided you have a drill, and only took me about 20 minutes or so from measuring and marking to cleanup. I thought some of the metal pieces could’ve been a bit thicker but ultimately they worked out fine. The wooden pieces were finished nicely though, smooth and with no sharp edges to snag on any clothing you’re hanging, the coloring was a bit off from the pictures, being lighter than the tones pictured. It wasn’t a bad looking package it just didn’t quite suit my use case as well as I had hoped for, I think in my case I would’ve been better off with a tactical gear hanger but I can’t fault it for not working out for me and it wasn’t a bad product; if I had motorcycling gear I imagine it’d be a pretty nice option for mounting a helmet and hanging a jacket and some leathers along with gloves or some pads.

I've been meaning to pick up a wall mount for my carrier for some time. I wish I had something like this when I was working patrol. The quality and design for this item is exceptional for the price point. The mount is easy to put together and very sturdy. The metal supports are steel construction with a durable coating and the wood is thick hardwood that can withstand my carrier weight. There is also a hook for a duty belt and a flat top mount for a ballistic or bump helmet. The wood had pre-drilled holes that line up perfectly with the mounting holes on the steel brackets. The holes are recessed cut and the included hardware is heavy duty. Each piece is held together with multiple bolts and the nuts have nylon lockers which help hold the unit together tightly. The mount has a wood base plate that comes with drywall anchors, however I made sure to secure mine to a wall stud just in case. I have no doubt that the included drywall anchors would do the job, they seem to be very heavy duty. I just don't want to gamble with that and my kit fits perfectly next to my safe with a stud to mount to. Over all, this is just what you need if you're in law enforcement, military, or just like to train with a kit. I have level 4 steel plates, but I'm hoping to upgrade to ceramics when I have the budget. I was worried about the weight of those plates with this mount, but it holds just fine with not apparent issues. Definitely a 5 star item.

This works great for storing my tactical gear where I have easy access to it. I can store my chest rig, my battle belt, and the helmet and accessories on this mount instead of having them piled on the floor or taking up valuable closet space where my wife can hang her new clothes that she never wears. It was easy to assemble, and is very sturdy. After mounting it, I put the chest rig and battle belt on it which way nearly 40 lbs and it didn't budge. That is sturdy enough for me.

This is pretty easy to put together and mounting is straightforward. I wish the helmet holding area offered more of a rounded top that fit into the helmet better without putting pressure points on the padding. Fairly easy to add something to it, but a rounded design would be better. It's moderately sturdy but there is some deflection from the weight of a heavy leather jacket with pads. I think it's a good value for a lighter setup or maybe in a kids room, but want something more robust for a day-to-day holder.

I got this mount to keep my motorcycle helmet on. I was sick of having it on the ground and collecting up cat hair. this was a perfect way to keep it up off the ground, out of my wives way and hold my riding jacket. after 9 months here are my thoughts: pros: - was very sturdy (at first) - includes mounting hardware - wood and metal construction looks good - holds the full face helmet weight well when balanced right Cons: - has not held up well over time. Has been bent a bit from pulling off my jacket and helmet. Time has not ben kind. There is no "give" with this mount, so it bends. - if your helmet is not balanced properly, it will flop to the side. Balancing this is harder as the unit bends. - smelled like gasoline when i took it out of the box. let it air out before you install. This helmet and jacket unit has a lot of potential, but its not for daily use. - I have since removed my unit due to it not holding my helmet or clothes well.

Great to hold motorcycle or tactical gear. It's sturdy, space-saving, and it looks great. Easy to assemble and install, however, we made sure to install it on a stud as we felt it would hold too much weight otherwise for the dry walls. Also some of the installation hardware was not great, we ran into one of them beaing stripped, but they do give extra so it wasn't a big deal. Overall, great product that serves its purpose nicely!
