It is heavy duty tarp. Reinforced grommets the edge is reinforced with a rolled material. Not sure what though. Here’s the problem. I needed a 10 ft tarp. It was only 9 ft. How about the 8 ‘ side? It was 8 ‘ 3 “. I didnt need the 8’ dimension so I had to cut off some of the 8’ side to add on the length. I thought that if it said 8x10 it would be 8x10! I can give 5 stars for the heavy duty though. I doubled it over so have plenty of heavy duty. I put screws in it with a binding head abd reinforced it with a paint stick. Worked very well. I did tons of research as to which tarp would last the longest, wear the least, resist ripping and tearing, as well as sun fade while balancing cost versus benefit. I am happy to say that the Campmac Heavy Duty Tarp lives up to the hype so far. Upon opening the package you can feel the superior weight and finish of this tarp. I purchased this product in March 25 but did not install it for several months (June 2025). I have been buying tarps to cover my boat for about 10 years. I don't know why I chose this product other than the description seemed to indicate a quality product. I noticed when I was unboxing the tarp that it seemed more ridged than other tarps but thought it would go away with use. About 4 months of use I noticed that the tarp was ripping but thought I could probably fix that with some construction adhesive. Less than 2 weeks later and the picture tells the story. I am in Florida, and it is hot in the summertime, but I have never had a tarp self-destruct like this one in less than 4 months. Don't even take this one if they give it to you.
