This is my 2nd one, same tarp. The first one lasted exactly a year, but got shredded this week in an Arizona dust storm. Not because of the wind so much as because the sun had weakened it. No matter what anybody says these tarps can’t stand up to the Arizona sun & heat & UV, etc. I use this on a carport frame covering my boat & I’ve been debating doing a tin roof but for $60 once a year I may just stay with the tarp canopy. If you don’t live in the Arizona desert you might get a longer life out of it; it’s actually a pretty good canopy cover. ... show more

Summers in Colorado seem to degrade everything incredibly quickly. I have been using two of these to cover my chicken run. These have been holding up great. It's very sturdy and thick, lowers the temp of the run by about 10 degrees, and holds up well in bad weather.
