While this probably isn't the sturdiest tarp I've ever seen, it is working fantastic as a pool cover. Because of drought restrictions here in the southwest, I've found I can greatly reduce water evaporation, hence the amount of water I have to add over time by keeping the pool covered. Unfortunately the only pool cover I have is a clear solar heating cover which, in the +100 degree days here, was turning the pool into a hot tub and making it unswimable, so I ordered this UV blocking tarp to keep the water in, the bugs and dirt out and prevent the pool from heating further. After a few weeks, I've found this tarp floats on the surface nicely and has reduced water evaporation and dirt and bugs from entering. Despite the recent heat wave, with daytime temperatures in the 110 degree range, the pool is still cooling down from the mid 90's to the low 80's. It also fits the pool perfectly, so the measurements appear to be fairly accurate. ... show more

I've been using this tarp as a boat cover. The tarp is exactly as described and well made. One eye hole grommet was loose but I was able to press it together myself and it turned out to be fine. Pretty soon ill be ordering a second one for another boat project I have planned.

This item was ordered (and delivered) long before I needed it, as my boat was not "home" yet. I use 20 X 15 tarps to cover my boat in the winter. The boat is classified as a 21 ft boat - which means that it is actually only 20 ft, and 1 or 2 additional inches long. Most 20X15 (or 20X14) tarps actually cover the entire hull, or body of the boat - though the 25 ft mast sticks out on both ends. This one fell short by more than a foot as can be seen at the back of the boat easily (about a foot short) and on the front by about a foot, though not as easily seen as the black plastic bag on the mast there went well past the tip of the boat front under the tarp. Of course, It would be easier if I could find a 22X14 heavy duty tarp - but they don't seem to exist. ... show more

10mil tarp is well made and strong enough for the winter boat storage. I recommend getting additional tie down clips to distribute the forces caused by heavy snow. Any heavier it may get unwieldy with a tarp this large(20x35ft)
