I’ve had the Belinova Large Metal Chicken Run Coop Walk-In for about a year now, and it’s been a solid, no-frills addition to my backyard setup. It’s very affordable (especially compared to custom coops or heavier-duty runs), and it does exactly what I needed: provides a secure, covered space for my chickens while being light enough to move around regularly. The run measures roughly 10x10 ft (or similar large footprint) with a 6.5 ft height, giving adults plenty of room to walk in for easy cleaning, feeding, and collecting eggs. The galvanized metal frame feels sturdy enough for daily use, and the waterproof/anti-UV cover has held up well through rain, sun, and wind over the past year. Assembly wasn’t too bad with two people, and once built, it’s stayed together without major issues. I’m keeping about 8–10 chickens in it max, which seems to be the sweet spot for comfort and space. The chickens have room to scratch, dust bathe, and roam without feeling overcrowded. If you plan on moving it frequently (like a chicken tractor), this is perfect—it’s lightweight enough that my wife and I can pick it up and relocate it every few days to fresh grass. That said, if you have more than 10 birds or want something permanent and ultra-heavy-duty, you might want a bigger or more reinforced option. A couple of honest notes after a full year: The cover material is decent but can show some wear if you’re moving it a lot or in high winds—mine is still fully functional, though. Door gaps are a bit larger than ideal (small predators could potentially squeeze through if not monitored), so I added some extra zip ties and hardware cloth in a few spots for peace of mind. Overall build quality is good for the price. If you’re looking for an inexpensive, walk-in metal chicken run that’s easy to move and works well for a small flock of up to 10 birds, this Belinova model is a strong budget choice. It’s saved me money while keeping my girls safe and happy.

I looked at coops for months. Months on Facebook marketplace and reading reviews on Amazon -and my husband rejected all of my finds. This was the one we could finally settle on. Pretty good reviews, not too expensive or difficult to assemble. My issue with this product is that it just feels so flimsy every time I open the door that I worry about my girls. That said, we have had a skunk prowling around our yard for two months and haven't lost any chickens. With the simple addition of some bricks or stones around the base, and it is safe. I think for my own peace of mind I am going to reinforce ours by zip tying a length of sturdy chicken wire around the bottom all around.

It’s a decent chicken pen. Nice size but the chicken wire is a little flimsy. I recommend wrapping the bottom perimeter with heavier wire.

This was a must at our house. After finding 3 chickens dead and a huge owl hovering, we needed something to protect them. Super easy to build and install. Size is perfect for both chicken coops with plenty of room to walk around.

Great starter coop for chickens! I only gave 3 stars because you definitely need to add reinforcement to keep chickens safe from raccoons and snakes. Definitely great though for a larger cheaper coop to start with.

We bought this to expand our current chicken run/ coop area. Really happy with the size, and our new coop fits perfectly. Will add more tarps next summer, added predator proofing on the bottom- we had a lot of extra chicken wire to use up.

It was pretty easy to assemble. However, the chicken wire it comes with is in no way predator proof. Don’t be like us, re-enforce it with different fencing. An animal cut through and killed all four of our chickens.
