I ordered this heavy duty garden hose to solve a problem. My wife drove over the stainless steel metal hose which was across the driveway being used to water the grass. Those metal hoses are amazing, are truly kink-free and very tough, but not designed to handle the weight of a vehicle. Her visiting friend drove over it once as well. I needed a hose that could handle being compressed and not be damaged, so I ordered this 50 footer by the FangFarm. This came tightly coiled and included two extra gaskets. I was a bit worried that it would partially uncoil and stay semi-coiled, but that was not the case. I pulled it on the driveway on a sunny day and the hose completed relaxed and became flacid. Nice! At each end is a solid brass fitting and includes a gasket on the female end. These are an upgrade over the cheaper to produce aluminum fittings that are becoming more common. Brass will outlast the softer and more corrosive-prone aluminum. The hose is tough, thick and strong, but surprisingly light, weighing just 8.4lbs. The octagonal design is supposed to resist kinking, but it can still kink, just not as easily as other, round hoses. They used to drive me NUTS! Its UV resistant and temperature extreme resistant too. Just don't leave water in it at 32 degrees Fahrenheit or less. It is burst resistant too, offering a 360psi resistance, although I didn't test that. Although I just got it and haven't had it used in all types of weather and under the hot, summer sun for months, I can tell that this is a durable, well-made hose that should last for years, even with rough use. I think it is a good value for what you get. I'm very happy with this purchase. Recommended

This FangFarm heavy duty 50 foot garden hose is a really good garden hose. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the hose was definitely “heavy duty”, it’s thick and is made with brass fittings at each end and comes with additional replacement gaskets if needed. I’ve encountered no leaks & even accidentally left the hose on (but turned off) all weekend and it sustained the full water pressure of our water for 2 days with no issues. While I can’t say it’s “no kinks” it’s definitely kink resistant compared to previous garden hoses we’ve owned. I’m happy with the quality of this hose & will update this review if anything changes over the course of the summer season.

I have had a lot of hoses in my time, and this one is the best I have had in a while. I can tell by the thick rubber that it is going to hold up long term. I highly recommend this one. It does not leak. The connection piece is thicker than most hoses, but in a good way. There is nothing flimsy about this hose or its connection points. 25 feet might be a bit short for a lot of applications, so double-check your measurements.

This is a nice garden hose. It is well made and the threads are cut neatly so it screws on nicely to the faucet and sprayer. I used it and can't find anything about it to complain about. The hose was neatly packaged and came with spare rubber washers. Shipping was a few days, but not bad.
