I needed to replace my porch swing hangers because they were almost worn through. When I started looking I found these & really liked the idea that they had bearings & were super heavy duty. Easy to install & the sticker with the hole placement made it easy to drill in the right place without holding the bracket above my head. The weight limit far exceeds what I needed, but in this case, bigger is better.

This swing hanger is seriously heavy duty! unfortunately it was the wrong type of hardware than what I needed for my porch swing (which has a metal brace bar), so I have to return it, but the mechanisms are amazing and it will work wonderfully for any wooden joist! (Just not a metal one.)

We've built several very large swing sets and this hardware has been by far the best. A smooth glide that makes swinging easier, no noise or grinding at all, solidly holds adult sized people. Highly recommend and would buy this again.
