  • Second one!!!
This is the second one I have ordered for my sister because I loved the first one so much. She uses a wheelchair part time and always has to place her purse or items in her lap. We are going on a cruise soon and I was looking for something that would free up her hands and keep her phone etc within reach. When the first one came in I was so happy with it I ordered this second one right away. The pockets are all different size and the larger ones can easily hold a phone etc. Also there are pockets on each side as well giving more than enough places for her to put things. I love the fact these go on the side of the chair placing the pockets in easy reach for her. I have seen the back attaching ones and just did not feel they would work for her as she would not be able to reach behind herself to get what ever she needs. My dad is currently having to use a walker and I am going to check the fit of one to it. If its a good fit I will be getting him one as well. ... show more

  • I wouldn't repurchas
I got this for the front of a Front-wheel walker. They have it listed as for a wheelchair and that would work, too. It is serviceable and a nice color. It is about 12 1/2 inches by 7 inches so it will hold a few things. It seemed slightly strained by a can of coke, but it will hold it. If you are buying a storage item for a walker I would get a somewhat larger and stronger one, but for a wheelchair this would probably be the more convenient size. I'm annoyed that this came with a huge 11.5 inch by 15.5 inch black velveteen drawbag. It's a nasty material, not luxurious at all and what on earth is that for? It seems like a straight to landfill item to me. Unattractive and useless and it made me sad that I now have to throw it away. Such a waste. ... show more

  • Thin but good as long as you know its limitations. I was able to fit a lot of items.
This wheelchair bag is rather thin and somewhat smaller than I expected. It's basically made out of cardboard and covered in nylon and mesh. This bag reminds me of a nylon and mesh pencil bag that you place inside a 3-ring binder, only wider and slightly larger with pockets. This bag has a total of 6 pockets. The middle zippered pocket is the roomiest pocket and runs the length of the bag. The rest of the pockets are located on both sides of the bag. I do like the color and the hanging belt seems secure when hung. The pocket claimed to hold a bottle of water but was a tight fit and not easy to remove and return when needing to take a sip of water. It also seemed to distorted the bag, making other pockets less roomy. This is a very thin bag so a bottle of water is just too bulky an item to make it workable. Nice concept though! Perhaps a mini bottle would work better. This wheelchair bag is basically good for small essentials but you can fit quite a lot. I took a photo for reference of all the items I was able to fit comfortably into the pockets, which was plenty for a thin bag the size of a car visor, so overall it's not bad as long as you know its limitations. I didn't like that I couldn't use the pocket made for a bottle of water but was still able to use it to hold a phone. I was able to place a bound notepad, extra note paper, a mask, and stationary with small envelopes inside the zippered pocket and able to zip it closed. There was still more room inside for flat items. You can absolutely add more bulky items in the zippered pocket but you won't be able to zip it closed. I added 2 writing journals and it did fit inside but was not able to zip it closed. You can add more, but doing so also reducs storage capacity of the other pockets. ... show more

  • I'm very impressed
I bought this pouch to hang on my mother's bed rail, since she can't easily move out of bed and sometimes needs to reach her stuff. The pouch is double sided, so there are pockets on both sides. The material is rigid enough to hold its shape while hanging, so it can't get bunched up to one side. One side of the pouch has a couple of larger mesh pockets, which have an elastic hem in order to keep the items inside from easily falling out. The other side has smaller pockets, more for reading glasses or a television remote control. There is also a zipper pocket that is the size of the pouch iteself. The pouch has two sturdy straps so that it can be hooked onto the bed rail (or wheel chair, or whatever you have it hooked to) and the length is adjustable. It can't simply be knocked off of a rail, it's very secure. If I needed to give it one improvement, I would say it needs another strap on bottom to hold it in place. When my mother is laying down and reaches for something in one of the pockets, It can swing away from her as she's fumbling in the pockets. This would probably not be as much of a problem on a wheel chair, because she'd be reaching down into it instead of to the side. But I'm sure I can rig a way to hold it in place for her. Overall, a nice inexpensive way for her to have her items within reach as she convalesces. I'm happy with the product. ... show more

  • Nicely Designed Wheelchair Bag
This wheelchair bag is a good design. It has 3 mesh elasticized pockets on the outside, and a large zipper pocket behind that. A water bottle fits nicely in the end pockets. I put my keys and wallet in the zipper pocket and everything else in the outer pockets. It is good quality, nicely made, and durable materials. The velcro straps that attach it to the wheelchair arm were too short for my wheelchair, so I had to get different straps, but all in all, this was a good value. ... show more
