Not sure what the difference is with the many other products that are similar to this one. Mainly bought this one because it was pink and more affordable. Otherwise, I feel like they are all the same. It took me a while to figure out the best way to twist my hair into it and an even longer time to realize it was more comfortable if worn as a "crown" vs to the sides of your head near your temples. I also find that the noodle piece is a bit long. Some weird tricks I learned along the way: 1. Fold the ends of the noodles with the included hair tie - fold it along with wrapping hair of course. 2. I found that if I put the ends of the noodles together its more comfortable to sleep in BUT the braids can fall apart making the noodle shift. 3. I dampened my hair with a spray bottle. 4. So this does work to curl your hair , very easy to use , I tried to use the clip to hold down the top crown area however my hair was to thin and didn't hold lol but still works without:)

Easy to use and comfortable to sleeep in. My only wish is my hair would hold the curls a little longer. With heat curl the curls last for 2-3 days. These curls only last a day at best

Sleeping with this in my hair definitely gives effective curls in the morning, and is easy to use. However…. Was very uncomfortable to sleep on a plushy log around my head. I think I prefer using the tie from around my bath robe (which is also very effective for curls) instead of this for the comfort factor. ... show more

I would say this product takes a lot of trial and error. There is a lot of different tutorials on TikTok and YouTube for this product and for similar products like it I would suggest watching them this project came with instructions, but I would not say they are enough definitely watch videos of different methods of how to get the most volume on the top of your head. I've tried this thing three times now. First time: I put it in my hair for 4 hours. I've seen people say they leave it in their hair for a couple hours and it works for them, but when I took it out, my hair was pin straight and I'm not even exaggerating. Second time: I decided to sleep with it in my hair. It was uncomfortable and hard to sleep in. In the morning, after having it in my hair for 8-9 hours, I took it out and it had some curls but they went flat within 20 minutes. Third time (a few days go): I put it in my hair straight after my shower, so my hair was wet. I wanted to see if it helped the curls air dry curled up in this thing. I kept this thing in my hair for about 22 hours. I woke up the next morning, and again, I took it out and it had some curls but they also went flat within 20-30 minutes sadly. I wanted to love this thing so badly but it just didn't work for me. I would like to note that I do have long straight hair, so I'm sure that's part of the problem, but still, it didn't give what I expected it to give ... show more

I haven't QUITE got the hang of it but I think I'm getting there. It's taking some trial and error and watching a lot of tutorials. There is a technique to it. They make it look quite a bit easier to use than it is but that's pretty typical of these hair tools. Over all I'm pleased as it was inexpensive, has held up to my experimenting and my cats thinking it's a toy. It also came with a pink claw clip 2 satin scrunchies and a little floral hairband. The box was nice too. Pretty good value and a good option if you just don't feel like blow drying. I use Paul Frieda sleek and shine on my damp hair, part it in the middle. My curtain bangs look best if I put them in a roller. If I wrap them around the item I don't like how it comes out very flat but with a wave in it. I fasten it to the top gently with the claw clip and then I think it looks best on my hair if I section the length into only 2 sections per side and then BRAID them around. Something about having the twists go in opposite directions make it come out nicer imo. If you are easily frustrated skip it, if you find these things fun to work out like me, go for it. ... show more
