The media could not be loaded. I’ve always wanted a heated jacket. I’ve been teased by seeing them in the stores and just put back by how expensive they are. I mean, almost $200 for a heated jacket? Some aren’t as expensive. I’ve seen them for $155 or $175, but still, that’s expensive. Then, on Amazon, this pops up for $99! Well, with Amazon, I figure, what do I have to lose? So, I order it. Let’s just say the shipping was fast. It arrived in just a couple of days! The shell is a high-quality polyester material, and the liner is an insulated material that feels great. Tons of pockets, and the heating elements, which are made of carbon fiber, cover almost the entirety of the jacket. I have not tested it out in the cold yet, but I did try it on and it’s comfortable and the heaters work great! What’s also cool is that each section, front and back, work individually of each other, so, your front can be on the high setting, and the back can be on a completely different level, or even off, if you’d like. What powers this jacket is a beast of a battery. It’s a rechargeable lithium-ion battery pack that looks much like a power bank. It’s a 16,000mAh pack that charges on USB-C and could easily be used as a power bank if needed! I ordered this on January 6th, and it arrived today, January 9th! I’d say, for $100, this is a great deal! Oh, and, now that it’s -3°F (-19°C), I’ve used this jacket and it’s amazing! It’s like a warm hug in the sting of this brutal cold. The windchill brought the temps down to -20°F (-28.9°C) and the wind never penetrated the layers, even where the zipper is! The hood has a synthetic fur lining, and it is NOT heated, however, but that would be nice! The heating seems to be spread pretty evenly, and what’s nice is that the two zones can operate independently from each other. Bought this for my 18 year old son, who will be working in the mountains this winter. He opened it Christmas day and tried it on. Works well, nice and warm. Hood is good. The only problem is there is a hole in the inner pocket lining, where the batter pack is stored. He leaves tomorrow so I won't be able to return it. I had to glue it together. It was disappointing though. Otherwise, the deliver and all was fine.. Make sure you check all of the pockets when you get yours. Checked in with him today Jan. 17th and he loves the heated jacket. It’s a very nice jacket and true to size, almost a little understated on measurements, I like my jackets loose and followed the measurements but this xxl is a little too loose on me. Here’s why I gave it the fair 3 star: quality and craftsmanship is there, it’s a very well built jacket and still just about worth every penny! With that being said here’s my complaint… based on the pictures you think you’re getting good overall coverage with the heating element placement, then reality hits when you receive it… as you see in photos of each side inner, gives you an idea that one section is for the heating elements and one is just pleated insulation.. I really love that it has 9 pockets if you include the battery pocket (which is the only area of wire below the line!) but I’m disappointed that the zones show upper and lower zones, when in fact it’s all just upper tornado and neck coverage! I don’t see myself getting a very oversized jacket just to heat the lower zones as depicted in the advertised pictures. Long story short.. you’ll feel it only in your neck shoulders and chest area. For this I deducted 2 stars, I almost returned it right away thinking it’s defective. It isn’t defective, it’s just misleading advertisement! The battery was 3/4 full when arrived but still took over night to go full (more than 4hrs), I have only been testing this jacket so I haven’t timed each level for time. Overall it still is appealing and it still does provide sufficient heat, my advice though is to definitely read instructions as there is a warm up time on both battery connections. One downfall is where they decided to put the buttons, if you barely touch them they switch … so sitting right where you bend will definitely alter, I feel the buttons shouldn’t be so sensitive. I hope you enjoyed my honest feedback. Oh yeah… charge cord provided is very short. UPDATE: I wore it day one out to work (I work outside) and it was a cold windy day… this jacket has no insulation to keep heat in or wind out, for that reason as well as the false advertisement I returned it. On the highest setting the jacket barely gets warm at all. I bought this for my dad to sit through sporting events outside for the grandkids and this product is nowhere near what it was advertised being. There's no way the highest setting is 140°. This is a great jacket that looks nice and definitely will keep you warm in cold weather. I love the lined and removable hood. This is a men’s jacket but I bought it for myself. I bought a large and could have purchased a medium (I’m 5’4” about 170 lbs). The jacket has 2 zones (back and front) and 3 levels of warming. The jacket is great. It’s not very heavyweight yet very warm. The included battery pack charged up quickly and worked perfectly. I wore the jacket to my daughter’s Christmas caroling event in 30* weather and I was comfortable. Again, great product.
