After buying a Callaway stand bag that dumped two dozen brand new Chrome Soft balls all over the cart path at my local muni (the zipper on the golf ball compartment split open) on its very FIRST round of golf, I bought this bag with fingers crossed and temper flaring. I was still seething over my purchase of the Callaway bag but as soon as I pulled the Macgregor bag out of the box my anger and anxiety were allayed. Right away I could tell the construction and materials were far superior to the Callaway bag. Beautiful too! I mean, this is a great looking bag! Light as a feather, without seeming insubstantial. A pocket or compartment for everything you can imagine. All roomy enough so you're not cramming everything in higgeldy piggeldy And here's the best thing about it: it's under a hundred dollars!!! I am so glad I spent hours searching for the right golf bag this time around! After perusing hundreds of bags on Amazon and eBay I came across this hidden treasure on Amazon, far, far away from the first dozen or so pages they offered on this item. Honestly, Amazon, THIS bag should be an Amazon's Choice on the very first page of bags! It's such a bargain they should be selling out like Tickle Me Elmo at Christmas. Lite but sturdy describes this golf bag. There's plenty of storage which includes a cooler area for bottle drinks. Unlike my older ping bag there is a space for my putter with the oversized grip. For the money this is as good as it's gonna get I think. I wanted a bag with pockets in certain places. I needed easy access pockets near the top for balls, tee's etc and this bag fits the bill. The storage is ridiculously abundant. Pockets of every size and some lined too for keys, phone etc. I like the dividers for club seperation and the dedicated putter well for large gripped putters. I would give it 5 stars except for the feel of a couple zippers. They feel a little rough but I'm hoping they break in as I go. Not cheap, they are not broken.. Just feel... rough. I am confident this bag will last me a long time and the zippers will at least hold out. I would buy it again with no hesitation. I will update this in the future if anything gives out prematurely. ... show more

I like almost everything about this bag. Very light, but also sturdy and well built! Looks great and has high quality materials, especially at the price point! Club pocket configurations perfect for me. My shoes fit down one side of the large pockets and my jacket down the other. Waterproof pockets are great for phone/wallet/camera etc... The only thing I would like to see are a few more smaller pockets for tees and other small accessories, which isn't a big issue because with how things are set up it can be made workable. This bag is just what I was looking for. Nice space for my oversize grips. Pretty lite, with clubs a decent carry. Still need to add my stuff but the bag has great pockets and large cooler pocket. update on bag: Using now for a month and still in love with the bag. I have had to empty my stuff because the pockets can hold so much(pullovers, rainpants, etc. This bad can hold alot but you'll notice the weight gain. Then empty the stuff. ... show more
