I ride a motorcycle and try to extend my riding into the late Fall in New England. Anyone who rides knows that warm hands give you to a better experience, but they are critical to a safer ride. I have heated grips and even heated gloves that are wired to the bike through my jacket for those really cold days, but wanted something that was battery operated that would fit under my leather riding gloves. I received the Snowdeer gloves and the fit was very true to the measuring chart. I wear a large glove normally and these were a perfect fit. Trying the glove liners on at first, I didn't feel like they were heating up, but I tested them out on a cold October ride in Maine. I started out ith the liners turned on the High setting. I rode for about 90 minutes and my hands were perfectly warm the entire ride. I was skeptical, wondering if it was just a nicer day than I thought and weren't sure if the liners were doing anything. I stopped for lunch and decided I would not wear the liners on the ride home. Within the first 10 minutes I noticed a huge difference. My hands were much colder and by enough of a degree that I pulled over and put the gloves back on. I finished the ride and was convinced that these liners were really helping. They are decently made, but I did have a slight issue getting the cuff over my hands. Once these are on, they fit perfect and the stretch in the glove is comfortable. The cuff is a stiffer material. Some people comment about the cuff being a problem, but I kind of like the way it wraps my wrist. Because I was pulling on the cuff to get them on, I may have damaged one of the gloves . I remembered getting a nice email direct from the seller when I received them asking to tell them if I had any issues, so I replied to that email explaining the issue and had an almost immediate reply. The representative offer to replace the gloves and immediately sent a new pair. I was very happy with the service and impressed with how concerned they were with my satisfaction. I'm pretty particular when I order something and I want it to work as advertised. These gloves work! I gave everything 5 stars but the "Stretch" category, simply because of the issues I had with the cuff, but I've gotten very used to them and like the way they fit. There was no review field for service but I wanted to mention the service as it made a huge difference in my experience. So as a disclaimer, first time using heated gloves or heated anything, so not a robust base of comparison. That said, these gloves are solid. I did a ton of research trying to find a good pair to help me through New Hampshire winters while I do outside chores on the property (I moved here from CA and TX) and these came up on a lot of peoples' lists so I gave them a shot. They're a bit more expensive than some of the other options I saw, but the battery lasts a decent amount of time, the material stretches with just enough flex to feel tight around the hand, the index and thumb tips work well on touch-screens so I don't have to remove them when I'm changing music or whatnot as I snowblow. They'e liners, so you can use them on their own and they offer decent heat and protection, but they're supposed to go under larger gloves and that's where they really shine. My fingers would be aching, no matter how cold the gloves I wore were rated for, within ten minutes, and with these, that problem is no longer a problem. When I'm outside for a long while I'll turn them on for about 15 minutes than off again for 30 or so to preserve the battery and the heat trapped by the gloves is enough to keep my hands plenty warm. Small nit picky issue is that the charging process seems a little clunky, you have to take the batteries out of the gloves and plug them into a proprietary Y-cable, but whatever, I can live with that. I suffer from Raynaud's that's gotten worse in recent years. These gloves are perfect for my needs. They warm my hands and fingers nicely, without being too hot. The control button is easy to use and lights up nicely in the dark. The battery lasts far longer than I expected with intermittent usage. The gloves are lightweight & stretchy. I'm easily able to use my screen in my car while wearing them. I cannot feel the heating elements inside and the gloves warm evenly - no hot spots. The batteries sit in little zippered pockets on the wrists. I can feel them when I first put the gloves on, but after a bit of time, I don't notice them at all. The wires are generous in length, which makes it easy to attach & detach them from the batteries. I would recommend these gloves. ... show more
