It started making a grinding noise within three minutes of being turned on the second time (the first time I'd used it for all of 15 seconds.) I'm certain nothing got stuck in it, so the only conclusion I can come to is that something got misaligned. This was the cheapest hot air gun I found so I guess you get what you pay for. This is my first heating tool. It dries my watercolors quick enough and it does the job without a problem. However, what's irritating about this product is how short the chord is. You need to either use it with an extension chord or sit right next to the electrical outlet when using it which is aggravating. ... show more

This did not work as I thought it would, I bought this to help with my resin work!!! I have never used one of these before but the results I got was not as good as I thought!!! It was making my resin wilt or slightly drop on the end I would heat up.... they ended up looking warped!!! I later realized that resin is not made to heat up once it cures which defeats the purpose of having this heat gun!!!! This gun is supposed to remove the bubbles from the resin as so I learned By watching YouTube videos although this is not the heat gun they used so either I’m doing it wrong or this heat gun is not efficient!!! I decided to give 3 stars cause the quality is fair!!!!! I took two stars away cause it’s not doing what it supposed to do..... it heats up fast, so careful when using and keep away from Little ones... the cord is very short so maneuvering while doing crafts was very hard.... I ended using an extension cord while I used this heat gun.... i didn’t get any positive experiences using this.... In the End I can’t say if this is reliable or decent all I can say is it didn’t work out for me.... May have four others!!!!! Hope this was helpful!!! ... show more

I love my pink heat gun tool! It provides the perfect amount of heat for embossing and it doesn't get too hot. The only thing I don't like is the shortness of the cord. I knew buying it that the cord length wasn't very long from reading other reviews. Other than that I have no complaints!
