    • this thing is HUGE AS HECK
I was expecting a regular hanging chair stand but what I got was a behemoth. I feel terrible I told my son to bring the package inside, because when he did, the box said team lift on it. this thing is very very big, it took up half my livingroom just putting it together. it only took about 5 minutes to put together though, thank goodness. you connect the 4 legs to the base, then you connect the top half to the base, then hook your seat on using the c-links and chain. however, we were putting this in my daughter's room and it's so huge, it takes up an entire quarter of her room so I suppose it's good that she intends to sit more on her ipod instead of play with dolls these days. it's a dark gray color instead of pure black, which is a great surprise because it kind of disappears into the background with our gray wood colors. the issue is the size, this is so big that there's not really a safe way to climb into the chair because there's a gigantic x under the center of the seat and trying to get out of the seat requires careful foot placement to avoid one of the long poles that make up the base. I predict a horrible accident so I'm gonna find some comfy plush mat to cover the metal legs in the meantime. other than that, awesome. but for sure, if you intend to use this indoors, measure your space cuz this thing is huge. it's bigger than my porch so it had to go inside. ... show more

Got this as a Mother's Day gift for my wife She already had the "bouncy chair" which was hung up at our old house. Now with this stand, she has it set up under the redwoods on our lawn. Sweet.

Very sturdy, doesn’t tip. somewhat easy to assemble if you have some muscles, but was fairly quick. Paid extra for a non-tip hanger. So it was worth the money.

This works fine. The problem is that the Hearthsong hugglepod hangout isn't very good. Our pod ripped right away, and it is a huge pain to return either the hanging chair or the stand. You can't return the cloth part only. You have to return the whole complicated heavy thing. The pod and stand are both bulky and heavy. If you're looking at this, I would say, "don't buy the hugglepod hangout." ... show more

These stands are extremely sturdy and the woven chairs I have work great with them. They are quite large so would recommend having a big yard for them. So happy I bought them.

I wanted to love this. However it broke within one week of our (small) kids using it and they fell out hitting his head. The metal actually snapped I guess? Not sure how that happened. I reached out to the company and they didn't seems concerned at all either.
