I debated on buying this futon for sometime especially since the reviews were not always positive, but I decided to take a chance on it. For starters the assembly on this was amazingly simple, I had the same problem many others had with the backs not lining up correctly I simply loosed the bolt that connects the two side together and forced them to line up and then retightened the bolt which fixed the entire issue. My 3 year old helped me assemble this thing with zero issues. It's not the comfiest if you're looking for a super comfy, cheap couch remember those two words don't go together very well. Overall if you like a stiff coushin you will be okay, I prefer softer couches to the harder ones, but suprisingly when you first sit down you don't get the impression of it not being comfy at all, but oddly enought I've had to sleep on this a few times when my 3 year son was sick and woke up feeling just fine with no achy back or hips. I purchased this for my son's bedroom since his two half brothers are over every other weekend and the bedroom is not big enough for 3 beds, my 17 yr old step-son who is over 6ft can sleep on this very comfortably, his feet hang off the end of he sleep with his legs straight which doesn't bother him one bit. I'm 5'6" and I fit perfectly on it without my feet hanging off. It makes a great addition for anyone with limited space. Goes from couch to a bed with absolute ease, and makes a great purchase for a living room or den for guests. We purchased our "Forever Home" in 2021, it was a time to make some changes. This "Futon" is purfect compared to the many others we looked into. The 1990's was the futon era, the 1980's was the sleeper sofa's the 1970' was the cots and hide-a-way beds. Since we were a decade behind buying the Futon we had to turn to Amazon to find and buy the Futon. I like how it comes in two boxes, folded in half. With a zippered pocket on what is the bottom panel facing the floor that holds the legs and screws. The back has 3 positions as does each end of the futon. And the gray fit inwell with my 3-toned gray familyroom. For extra padding I have a charcoal topper that lays on it perfectly. ... show more

It is very comfortable and lux with reasonable pricing. The color was exactly what I expect. It doesn’t required much space and easy to assemble. The coach fabric also is very strong which two persons can sleep on the coach.

I bought this for my sister for an extended stay and the first week it was sleepable but you can feel the underside still coming through it says memory foam but my bed is memory foam and works like a champ this couch isn't memory foam and if it is its very very little. Update: 3 months after owning this very uncomfortable to sit on impossible to sleep on unless you want a sore back and neck bolts are constantly falling out the back wont properly click into place evenly waste of time and money save your self the money get a real futon the look isn't worth the money especially if it's going to be used. Most uncomfortable piece of furniture I've ever bought. Also 3 days after posting my initial review I was confronted through email and text about changing my review to a 5 star for a Amazon gift card most insulting and disrespectful customer service I called Amazon support and got blown off because it was sold by Amazon and violated there own policies. i love the design and ease of this sofa! first it was delivered in one box. it was a little heavy for one person to move but with two it was fine. putting it together took ten minutes (all legs and fasteners are in zipper pouch fyi). it was so easy! it is perfect for our attic room/office. also very happy with the color and quality especially considering the price. ... show more

I was hoping this was going to be super comfy to sleep on. I could feel the bars. So it's not super comfy to sleep on. Might be better for kids to sleep on once in awhile. I even added extra padding and that didn't help. As far as the couch position,it works good and seems more comfy that way. As far as height wise, it is low. I guess if you really needed to use this as a full-time sleeping bed then you may want to look into something comfy to throw on top of it in the full futon position. It was easy to put together and if I decide to take it down and set it away I can do that too. Over all I'm fine with this purchase but I probably wouldn't purchase another in the future. ... show more
