What a great machine for the price. I use ice regularly and was tired of filling ice trays constantly and then either in a bucket or or bin that was big and clunky. I've bought some freezer ice bags to go with it and they are amazing for storage. I also use filtered water to avoid mineral build-up. I've been using it regularly for a few months and so far I absolutely love it. It looks nice, doesn't make a lot of noise, and produces 9 ice bullets every 8 minutes or so. I like to start with cold water otherwise your first set of bullets come out a little smaller than normal. It holds a good amount of water so you don't have to fill constantly but you do need to fill after an hour give or take. It has a nice self clean feature as well as auto shut down for the ice tray being full or if it runs out of water. It's also prtable since its small and lightweight. All you need is an outlet and you could pretty much use it anywhere. So far it seems pretty durable as it's held up perfectly for the first cpl months but we'll see. I will update this review if needed in the future, but as of right now I couldn't recommend this more for the person who enjoys ice regularly.

I really wanted to like it, and it's not bad but, has some real drawbacks. It arrived today and I set it up per instructions and there were no issues. I wanted an icemaker to supplement the little amount of ice my refrigerator icemaker produces. The problems are this: 1. The ice-making area is covered by a thin transparent cover that doesn't retain the temperature so after the ice is made it starts to melt slightly. This creates the second issue. The ice refreezes as more ice is made, and so the ice forms a large chunk from the individual pieces. 2. It doesn't make enough ice or very quickly. 3. it is a bit loud. It's not an issue for me because my kitchen is separate from my living space, but if you have an open-concept space maybe it might be irksome. If I had no ice maker at all I would probably keep this thing regardless of its flaws, but it just isn't worth the money to me for so little ice. I'll probably just buy a couple of ice trays and end up with the same amount of ice in the same time span. I'm bummed :(

I bought this ice machine mainly because of its compact size and the fact that it has a self-cleaning feature — and I couldn’t be happier with it! I’ve been using it consistently since I got it, and it works amazingly well. It makes plenty of ice quickly and efficiently, which is perfect for daily use or when I have guests over. I really appreciate that it doesn’t overfill — once the ice box is full, it automatically stops running, so I never have to worry about overflow or wasted ice. The self-cleaning function is a huge plus for me, too. It gives me peace of mind knowing the machine stays clean without much effort on my part. Overall, this ice machine has been super useful to have at home. It’s convenient, reliable, and does exactly what I need it to do. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a good-quality ice maker!

This is a compact unit that would work well at a desk or wherever you might need just enough ice for a cold drink or two. It’s small, so don’t expect a full-sized ice machine. When the hopper is full, there’s probably enough ice to fill two 12 ounce cups. The color and design are aesthetically pleasing. The nuggets are approximately thumb-sized with the traditional bullet shape, and the machine makes ice every few minutes. It’s somewhat on the noisy side, but not too loud. Overall, thus far it has worked just as it should and has been a nice addition next to my soda water maker.

Huge Disappointment

I bought this last year, but just started using it after my other one finally died. This machine is absolutely horrible it does make the ice like it’s supposed to, but it’s always dirty and it’s very difficult trying clean. I did not realize it was not self cleaning until I went to clean it, black pieces not mold is constantly in the machine and it’s gross, time consuming to clean and frustrating it has to get cleaned weekly.
