We think these stools are perfect. We wanted something low profile that would scoot under our island for our new kitchen remodel. We can fit six under the island. It’s 10 feet long. But if people sit in them and want to spread out five works nice. We actually ordered eight in total and find that when people are over they just pull them up around the other sides of the island and it works fine even though there is not an indent for your legs. They are well-made and overall very nice looking. We are pleased with the purchase.
