Its a mix of shampoo and hair dye. It does cover grey hair. I didn't get any chemical reaction on my scalp.

Easy to use and color is amazing. I have a toddler and haven't been able to get anywhere to get my hair colored. I can literally throw this on my hair while she's in the tub and by the time she's done, I can rinse it out. I did struggle covering everything, and had to do touch ups the next day but that was just because of me not having a clue how to do my own hair. You should get other gloves because the ones in the box are huge and slide off. I also can't speak on how long it lasts but I will definitely continue using! ... show more
