This 9.99$ monocular is reliable first reason is because it is very easy to use even for kids second reason it is very compatible and small with bringing it with you to biking trips third reason is the focus is not 30x but it is more likely 15x zoom. Also I recommend this for how good it is for the price and being lightweight reading building numbers up to a mile away still being bright. But it takes a long time to ship and the box came in broken ... show more

Will not focus straight out of the box. No matter the distance or how you try to adjust the focus it is blurry. Spend the extra $5 and get a better brand

It seems to distance and close focus quite well. It has good clarity. I once had a Simmons and this is similar. To simplify it I would say this is what is traditionally called an 8 X power item.
