I bought this as a cute item for my child in college, without really considering its functionality. They drink a lot of loose leaf tea and misplaced their old strainer. It turns out this Nessie works very well indeed. It worked so well that I bought one for myself and love it. It’s easy to use, easy to clean, and it just makes me smile whenever I use it. So far it’s retained its shape and color despite many dunks in hot water. They are all adorable so I may have to get the others as well.

I love the Nessie products. This works fine... I did notice like some others that a teeny tiny leaf can escape but it's not enough to be bothersome. Also some people commented on how small it is and they like their tea really strong. I mean, yes it's small... But I'm not sure it's any smaller than any other tea strainer like it? I could still fit a lot of tea in it and also the material is an extremely flexible silicone material so you can really push a lot of tea down into it. I'm really glad I bought it.

This is a very cute little Dino tea diffuser. It’s a little hard to close sometimes, but it seems quality and fits a good amount of tea leaves. Easy to use and fun to have in my cup. The holes re pretty big, so some tiny leaves do escape since there is no mess.

I love this mug. It is so beautiful and charming. I don’t like to clean the dishes but hand but it deserves it, and the tea strainer just too beautiful in it.

I purchased because it is SO CUTE. However, this is not the most practical tea diffuser. It is a bit on the small side, and I prefer my tea stronger than what fits in this cute little Dino. I found it mildly challenging to close the silicone after packing with loose tea. I appreciate that it is dishwasher safe, but have not opted to throw in the top rack due to the small size of the bottom and I worry it would get lost. My dishwasher doesn’t come with a basket for small items. ============================= Update: The customer service team reached out to me after seeing my initial 3 star review and offered a full refund as I was unsatisfied with my purchase. I am very impressed with the responsiveness of the company, which obviously prioritizes customer satisfaction. I have changed my review to 5 stars based on the customer service interaction.

Style: Tea Trap
I had to have this tea strainer. Had to. I spammed my friends and family with Little Shop of Horrors gifs for two full days. I really thought it would just be something neat to play with, which it is, but it's also now my favorite tea strainer. It's better quality and heavier than I expected. The handle is easy to operate and the heat from the water doesn't travel so high you can't touch the end with your bare hand. The rubberized parts are solid; they don't get softer in the hot water (that would be terrifying). The leaves help guide the liquid out when you remove it from the water. I often drink a tea with pretty large leaves and the teeth help hold in any tea leaves that don't make it all the way inside the metal trap. It's VERY fun to snap. I have no complaints and would buy it again. However, it is worth noting that if you don't like any bits of tea leaves in your cup, this may not be the right strainer for you as there is no mesh and the holes are a little on the large side.
