I found this ladder to be particularly sturdy in A frame, and reasonably sturdy in extension. The portability we were looking for. I'm not sure why others doubt it's sturdiness. The only thing I'd change is the collapse. Other telescoping ladders have a slow (air pressure) closing; this is gravity's full force = mass x acceleration. Be prepared or get injured.

So I've used this a handful of times now. I'm impressed with the durability and construction. It's light, compact, but sturdy. The "flex" when fully extended is just something to get used to. Happy with the purchase, especially at this price point. Seems ladders from major brands have tripled in price over the past 3 years.

The first one I ordered Amazon said it was delivered with a picture that was not my house. Not sure who they delivered to but, Amazon customer service was amazing they replaced the ladder and resent it out. The delivery guy was so kind. He offered to sit the ladder in my house and thank goodness he did because this ladder is kind of heavy. Anyway, the ladder extends very tall. Just what I needed for my high ceiling above my staircase. The taller you extend it, it may not be very sturdy. Please make sure you have some one at the bottom of the ladder for added support. True to color. Great for small projects around the house.

Strong, sturdy and compact. I needed a ladder in the loft I reside in because the ceiling has smoke alarms and lights etc out of reach so I did some browsing and came across a variety of kinds. I love this ladder. I use this ladder to ascend the attic through an access hatch. It easily stores in a nearby closet so that I don’t have to run out to the shed to get a ladder when I need into the attic. It is not as rigid as an extension ladder, but you wouldn’t expect that from a telescoping ladder. It is plenty stable. Just a bit of an adjustment on the first time using it. Absolutely perfect for my application.
