Features

  • Spacious Pet Playpen: Small animals can enjoy space for play and exercise. This chicken coop has a run that is suitable for 12-20 chickens, rabbits (if reinforced for digging), ducks, and more. And the ample space makes adults walk around comfortably.
  • Safety Design: Lockable door with a latch makes this large chicken coop extra safety. And the chain link walling features steel wires and a sturdy galvanized steel frame that's resistant to wear and rust, allows you to avoid worrying about small animals being intruded by predators at night. The metal wire is treated with a dipping process that ensures protection against injury.
  • Waterproof & UV Protection cover: This waterproof cover fits our cage perfectly. Providing for full protection from sun, rain, snow. The roof slope allows for water, debris and light snow to run off instead of accumulating on the roof.
  • Walk-in Design: This metal chicken pen offers walk-in height. Enter easily and comfortably through a door that locks when you're done. Attach it to a wooden coop for an upgraded shelter.
  • Chicken Coop Info: Overall Dimensions: 10' L x 20' W x 6.56' H. The diameter of galvanized steel pipe: 1.26". Assembly required.

  • Missing parts
Just received a few days ago. Tried putting it together and were missing a few parts.

  • Very easy for a fox to get in
It keeps my chickens in, but the second night a fox broke two of the thin zip ties and if it weren't for my electric wire running along the bottom, I'm sure he would have gotten in and eaten all my 6 week old chicks. They're traumatized. I've ordered a stronger charger and a better electric fence to put around it, but this enclosure is not very sturdy. The metal poles are closer to a canopy instant tent popup than poles used in a chain link fence. And the wires for the fence itself are closer to a nylon net than metal hardware cloth. This netting is easily broken by any small predator, so I used my heavy duty zip ties when I ran out of barbed wire fence clips which I use on my barbed wire fencing. (Which is what I'd recommend.) And the door is very disappointing. I'd give the door a one star. There are no real hinges, it swings on two clips clamped to the skinny post. The door itself deforms when you open or close it. Each time you will have to pull both the top and the bottom even with the rest of the dor opening. I'm not sure what they were thinking on the "door". They have you put 4 poles together and use clamps that you use for something that's not supposed to move. Then each time you open it, it scrapes against the post, so if you use it that way for long it's going to wear through the skinny poles. I recommend putting some grease inside the clamps before you tighten them down. They don't use real hinges on it. So I don't know how long it will last either. Then I added a tarp that covers the top and the sides to keep their dust bath dry, and I was concerned about it collapsing. I also put 48" tall, 1/2 in hardware cloth around the bottom that I got at the hardware store. It's much heavier steel, and after seeing a hole I believe a fox easily created before it got zapped by my single wire electric wire along the bottom, I knew I had to reinforce it, just in case the electric fence fails or I fail to have it on when they try to get in. I say that because the fox just went next door where she also has a coop without the electric wire, and a fox got in and ate three of her chickens. THIS WILL NOT KEEP PREDATORS OUT!!! But.. it was $220, and in today's economy I guess this is all you get for the money. I put another $180 of my own materials to make it more durable. But I still haven't figured out what else I can do to fix the "door". I will put a 48" by 168' 3.5J electric fence around it on Thursday when it arrives. Then I will just open the door to this enclosure in the morning and close it at night. It won't last long using it several times a day. I will be surprised if this thing even lasts one year. I can't find the picture, but I'll add it tomorrow when it's light outside. ... show more
