I bot this fir my 98 durango 5.2 v8 got it with 209,??? Miles on it and it ran fine it just smoked a lil bit cuz fryed rings from prevo ownerand ran ruff somedays and fine on others and factory max rpm waz 5250 but it would over rev and back fire right at 4500 not even redline zoned and couldnt peel out or powerstomp it even on small ass 235/75r15 tires (28in tall) so yea i firgurd i would give this $63 work of god in a bottle a try b4 i dumped out $1000 for a performace rebuild kit... so this how i did it- dumped all old oil flushed it till all clean oil came out with a quick cranking of the engine couple times to allow the moving oarts get cleaned and made shure all old dirty gas smelling oil waz gone and then refilled all but 1quart with cheap walmart hi milage mystery brand oil with a new 15kmile filter then started it and let it warm up wile ispent the next 15min hassle of trying to get the dam bottle to shake and mix p.s does not happen in 35deg weather so i ran in side ran the hot water on full blast on the can till i couldnt hold the can cuz it waz to hot grabbed a towel and it shook and mixed freely like milk that waz so much easyer! Then dumped it in my warmed up engine then chased it down with the remaning 3/4quart of oil put the caps on checked that it waz filled and hoped in a drove it a lil bit put abot 30miles on it and i i could feel a gradual increase in power and smother run came back home... 300miles is wen i noticed i stoped burning oil and that i could peel out witch waz awesome and then i tested the rpm... factory max operating rpm is 5250 im 98so i didnt have gay rev limiters thank god but my rpm increased from the 4500rpm then a shut down slash back fire type bull crap shot up to 5750 on a quick throttle rev spike sounded good and strong and no force shut down or back fire noise/feel and def notice in power and all around just felt like a new engine wen its not... i am now at 217,??? Miles still got same power same smooth new feeling engine that still doesnt smoke i am a verry pleased it did everything it said it would... will be buying this again to keep my engine running great... and ur prob thinking thats impossible to surpass factory rpm rating of 5250 to 5750 by just using this stuff but it did and i will gladly send you a b4 pic and a pic now of my rmp needle almost hitting 6 on my gauge wen b4 it would barly hit 4750 and force shut down and sometimes back fire for proof if u like... so beleive me and buy it and share your results of how awesome this stuff is or dont beleive and stop reading all the reveiws trying to find one that didnt work cuz u wont find one cuz this is like the one automotive product in the world that works and does what it says and that is why this little 8oz bottle cost $60 and cant be found at walmart in the cheap waist ur money wile we laff at u in the stop this stop that fix that and maby break that wile trying to fix ur first problem section load of crap isle in walmart ... show more

I wasn't sure about using this additive because of the expense, and that I've tried a couple other items (LiquiMoly Ceratec and a can of something from O'Reilly's). I have an '87 Jeep Grand Wagoneer that sat for about 12 years and has 155k miles on the motor. The XADO Additive made the engine run SO MUCH QUIETER, especially on the highway. It runs so much smoother that even the idle speed came up about 150 rpm. There was a valve "tick" that I'm pretty sure is a collapsed lifter, not sticky, that will not go away with all additives that I've tried - The noise is still there, but quite a bit softer now. And engine temps, in desert-like Los Angeles, don't rise past the mid point now - even on hot days, running the A/C. I can't comment on fuel economy yet since it's only been a week since I used this (anything better than 10mpg in the 2-1/2 ton beast would be welcome though). This was definitely worth the extra expense on the old motor. If I can get another 50k miles out of it I will be very happy. ... show more

I was very sceptical of this product...But after reading the many good reviews I figured what the heck my car is shot anyway maybe it is as good as they say. I have a 1991 honda accord with 175000 miles on it and it was feeling very tired. Not just the engine but the tranny too. I had once before tried engine restore but the differance was minimal, and it needed to be added each oil change. So I tried Xado for the engine and tranny and must admit after just a few hundred miles I truly did notice a much stonger engine and a far smoother tranny. I feel like for once I got what paid for and am truly impressed for a change. So much so I plan to put this same product in my 2004 ford f 150 and hope it works half as well. Just my seat of the pants impression but that's good enough for me. ... show more

My 2003 civic DX has never been the same after I put this in the engine. I brought the product close to operating temperature by putting the bottle in a kettle at180F and shook well. Added to the engine after filling it with new fully synthetic oil. Took the car for a 10 mile drive. When backing in to my driveway the car stalled. Ever since that day, shaky starts, mutliple cranks to start the engine and poor fuel economy became the norm. My older car with absolutely no issues became pleagued with very rough starts, rough idle and stalling issues. I decided to remove it from the engine before to "recommended" 1000 miles to see benefits. After 400 miles I drained the oil. The bottom of the oil pan had pink sludge. I used an engine cleaner to flush the engine. The symptoms are still there and from the looks of it my civic's engine is permanently damaged by this product. The packaging says that it is made in Ukraine and the bottle was filled 4 years ago which looked sketchy. I should have trusted my gut and returned it before opening and using it. Not everything you buy on Amazon is legit and useful. Be careful and if you're not 100% sure that your car needs this or a product like this, STAY AWAY. ... show more

So I purchased this to use on 2 of my cars.....my 2009 3.3l grand caravan, and my 2022 Kia forte..... Now my grand caravan is running like a dream. It has more power and sounds alot quieter. On the other hand, my 2022 forte now has a check engine light due to a misfire. The large particles in the fluid have clogged several of my sensors I now have to do a flush and another oil change after just doing a fresh oil change. And yes, my car was at normal operating temperature when adding the fluid. I did everything per the instructions, I just hope this didn't damage my engine.
