Description

This is Hazard 4's first daypack with an external load-carrier 'beavertail' for helmets, jackets, etc. The carrier can flip 180 degrees down to manage long loads like CCW, and the bottom hinges allow detaching & expanding. Drawbridge has a unique top, perimeter, or side sling-style zipper access choice, and the load carrier has an admin area. There's a molded top-shell to protect optics, and other breakables, and is also a base for our exclusive HardPoint(R) hardware parts. A large zip pocket on the side fits Nalgene bottles, radios, etc., and a padded laptop/hydration area in soft molded back panel can fit laptops up to 17". The back panel adds structure, back safety & air circulation, and also has a removable luggage trolly-handle strap. When this luggage strap is off, loops are left for carabiners, etc. Drawbridge comes with our removable, minimal waist belt w/ patented roto-lock buckle, and fuzzy liner on inner walls for optional dividers/photo bin inserts. Side compression straps can hold objects to pack’s sides, and there's a large flat pocket under carrier & on pack-back. Other features include: supersized laser- cut MOLLE & i.d. patch panel, MOLLE loops on 3 sides & harness for pouches, etc., and sternum strap with elastic auto-adjust, 2-position belt height.

I have several sling bags from Hazard 4 still in regular rotation (oldest one is 10 yrs and going strong) and have always been impressed with the quality and loved the ability to customize the interior and exterior storage as well as the versatility of being able to access the bag from anywhere. This is my first backpack from them and it does not disappoint. It has a very large interior that can easily accommodate dividers . The interior is supplemented by a nice balance of external storage areas (and the MOLLE has it ready for more at any time). The back panel and straps make it very comfortable to wear even when the laptop compartment is packed with an additional travel monitor and ipad for work. The load carrier has a solid admin area and decent storage and takes the versatility to the next level by being able to accommodate most anything you can imagine. My daughter took this feature from “nice to have” to “need to have” about an hour after the bag arrived. Overall extremely happy with this bag. It has immediately become my EDC. ... show more

I take this bag everywhere. 3 stars for the color. I chose it because it was on sale. It fits all the important things i take with me. I like the top pocket that is reinforced. It is nice for small fragile things like sunglasses or reading glasses. I managed to break one of the plastic buckles you can use to cynch the bag down, but that is probably a result of my getting a little roughvwith it. I purchased a $99 Luggage Works Flight bag that had better material and build quality. This bag is crap. received mine 2 days ago , excellent back pack , but it came inside a cardbox only , no nylon , and no official card on the back pack showing that it is new or unused , im really questioning , if its original or unused , no protection inside the box whatsoever .
