This bag is a beast! I purchased this bag back in 2018 for $40 before I had joined the US army. After 4 years of use as a work backpack, going through field problems, an NTC rotation and a deployment to Korea this bag is still in working condition. It isnt as tan and has since faded after receiving it but considering how much gear this bag has hauled and for how long its weathered in the rain and sun it is still in pretty good condition. Pros Lots of space, you can fit a lot of gear, equipment, clothes etc. There are also pockets inside of the bag. Durable. this thing has been dragged through the sand, FRH, engine oil, transmission fluid, blood and mud and is still serviceable. Bag can be opened up all the way and laid flat. Zippers are still going strong, Havent had any break or one instance where the zippers catch onto material or get stuck. Can strap things to the bag using the molle or the straps to tighten the bag up, I usually looped one of the top straps through the handle of my water bottle. Shoulder straps have a nice mesh padding that is breathable. I wouldnt recommend hiking long distances with this pack under heavy load but short trips are fairly comfortable. Cons If its packed to the brim the bag is relatively clunky and awkward, If there is too much weight the bag will sag. one of the shoulder straps started to break apart at the seams after about 3 years of heavy use. Waist/ lumbar strap attachment isnt very useful, truthfully I got rid of it after receiving the bag. Not very waterproof, it can sit in the rain a bit and keep the contents inside dry but I wouldnt recommend leaving the bag in the rain without a cover. It does have a hole in the bottom of the bag for drainage. ... show more

Tons of space but to bulky. Thanks to the side straps, this backpack can be as small or as big as you need. Incredible amount of space and plenty of separate compartments and sleeves to fit all your items. Positively impressed by the quality. At that price rage is quite surprising.

I have been using this backpack for over 6 months now everyday. It is a great backpack for school, hiking or going to the gym. It is durable yet cheap. It has many loops to hook your tools and items on. Multiple compartments for storage. There is netting inside along with pockets for things like pencils. Very tough and built to last, this backpack stands up to the rigors of my job on a daily basis. It has withstood falling off the vehicle I drive at work, it's been through steady downpours, and blistering sun. All the seams are holding up and the material laughs off abrasions and scuffs while still looking new. The backpack is mostly water resistant but there are limits. When I was out in a torrential downpour for about 2 hours, the contents within did get a little damp and the color bled from the velcro which now looks a little brown in comparison. It swallows whatever I put in it and seems to have room for more. The zippers are tough and will hold up to overpacking as well. The overall comfort, from the shoulder straps to the padded rear panel is great, never fatiguing. I highly recommend this backpack for work, school, or outdoor fun.
