Even though it's too early to tell if these will be durable and tolerant of heavy use. So far, these appear to be excellent packs. The real test will be to see how well they handle heavier loads. Very thoughtful design and materials seem excellent. Lots of space and pouch areas to store stuff. The zippers feel decent so far. The material does not feel cheap like most domestic packs. It feels like it's almost built for service, but with domestic additions. The only down side is that it should have come with built in waist/kidney belt that can be stowed away like ones used in the military 3-day assault packs. It should wrap around with plenty of padding. Not like the optional, UNDER-designed belt that they offer. This is NOT a deal breaker though. I ended up using an aftermarket ALICE pack-style belt to be used for my specific needs. I highly recommend this pack. They may very well be as durable as the mil-spec assault packs. ... show more

I do a lot of domestic and international travel. I need a back that is high quality, durable, comfortable, and can easily be stored under an airplane seat. I looked at several NorthFace backpacks but decided against them. This backpack is exactly what I wanted in a bag. A few good compartments. Strong zippers. I can put my iPad Pro and laptop in separate compartments. If you connect the shoulder straps in a certain way the bag can slip over the luggage handle. I also attach my water bottle to the molle. I bought this but then returned it as the colour (Forest Green) wasn't expected. So I bought the urban grey which was more subdue. However, I wanted to leave a review because these bags do not come with such a good reputation for nothing, they are exceptionally well made, with plenty of storage capabilities and carrying capability. The Forest Green is a very nice colour, but I needed something more muted, an olive drab option would be welcome. ... show more
