This filter performed perfectly the first year. After properly maintaining it and storing it in our basement over the winter, it no longer functions properly and leaks between the base and upper portion. Not happy!

Just received this filter, air bleed valve was broken off, top cap was cracked. Broken valve was not in the box, so damage was done before shipping. I returned and will order another once return is complete, because it still looks like the best fit for my pool.

We have used Hayward filters for over 40 years they have always done a good job but don’t use a power washer to clean the fingers cause we did last year and messed up the last one

This filter is junk in my opinion. It clogs up so frequently and once clogged water movement is lost and Algae is in the pool in no time. It’s constant maintenance to make it work appropriately. I wish I would have went a different direction. Likely replacing this brand new filter next year with a pentair filter. ... show more
