This rechargeable razor/trimmer set demonstrates quality in every detail. I ordered this set to replace a decade old rechargeable trimmer that was on its last leg. It not only replaced but far exceeded my old trimmer’s capabilities not to mention the included razor. Again, this is a quality rechargeable razor/trimmer set in every way. The razor and trimmer’s metal bodies are weighty and balanced in a good way that suggests excellent design and engineering much like a classic pocket watch. The trimmer works exactly like my old one, so I was pretty familiar with all of the attachments and its operations. I went to put the trimmer and the foil razor on the charger and found both were already at 100 percent. I then took it for a test drive as I hadn’t trimmed my beard in better than a week and was getting a little on the shaggy and unkempt side. I used the T-blade trimmer combs starting with the 5mm as I wasn’t too sure just how much would be trimmed. It did great and was about what I expected from just looking at the comb. I then went over my entire beard with the 3 mm comb which also cut quickly, evenly, and without any of the dreaded pulls or snags. I then swapped out the T-blade for the hair trimming blade and lightly trimmed over my ears and the back of my neck without issue or any “got-cha’s.” I moved back to the T-bar with a comb and trimmed the hair on my neck as close as I could get which was extremely close. The nose trimmer was also easy to use and did a fair job of nearly the same quality as a dedicated Panasonic nose trimmer I have for this purpose. I finished up by using the foil razor to see how much closer it could get over just the T-bar blade. It got amazingly close and though not straight razor close, was as close as any of the major electric razor brands I have used in the past. I didn’t test the waterproof nature of the razor or trimmer as I don’t ever see myself shaving in the shower. It’s all I can do to keep track of the soap and shampoo without adding more stuff to knock over in the shower. Reflecting on the testing, I did note and would highlight a couple of things that really stood out to me. First, both devices ran extremely quietly. I was amazed at just how little noise the motors of each made despite running at the fast speeds they do. The sharpness of each blade was also extremely impressive and is better than any trimmer or electric razor I’ve used to date. The LED display is bright, informative, and a welcome addition over the “idiot light” that signaled my battery was nearly dead on my old trimmer. Finally, the hand-feel of each of these razors is really nice and enjoyable. It definitely ups the enjoyment of the beard grooming experience. If I had any complaints about this set it would be there are two charging cables required. A USB A to C cable and a USB to a double prong for the foil razor. In my mind, I think it should have been fairly easy to use one system or the other to simplify tracking and storing. It’s a small complaint as I don’t think I’ll ever be traveling with both razors but could see where some would. Overall, I am extremely happy with this rechargeable razor/trimmer set as it is quality made and performs flawlessly. I believe this set would be an upgrade over most comparable sets I’ve seen. With that in mind, I’d definitely recommend this set.

The number of options for hair clippers on Amazon has exploded. Thankfully, it turns out that most of the clippers are apparently made by only a handful of factories, with various nameplates attached, different boxes, and variations in what is included in the kit. The general quality of these clippers is surprisingly good these days. The clipper in this kit is no exception. What's interesting here is that they've coupled a replaceable head T-Blade clipper with a foil shaver. The T-Blade clipper is useful for beards, body hair, neck hair, etc. The foil shaver is useful for the face or for smoothing out any other area where you've clipped the hair and then want to bring it down entirely to the skin line. Both the clipper and the shaver are IPX7 rated, so they're waterproof enough to use in the shower. That's also unusual in this kind of kit. A summary of the parts in this kit: ** T-Blade clipper. LCD readout of charge status, interchangeable heads ** 3-cutter foil shaver. LCD readout of charge status ** Both clipper and shaver are IPX7 waterproof and feature software 3s lockout for travel ** In-line body trimmer (with length guard), nose hair trimmer, and second hair trimmer blade for T-Blade ** Four cheap length guides for the more narrow clipper blade ** Five cheap length guides for the full-sized T-blade clipper ** Two USB charging cables ** Clipper oil ** Two small cleaning brushes ** A velvet-like travel sack ** A plastic head protector for the foil shaver As noted, this kit is unusual because it includes both the T-blade clippers and a foil shaver. The styling of the two is matched. Both feel hefty in the hand due to metal construction. The T-Blade clipper is comfortable in the hand. The foil shaver, on the other hand, is a bit bulky and may feel a bit large to those with small hands. The T-Blade clipper does a good job on hair. It is near-0 gapped (but not exactly 0-gapped), so it can get reasonably close to the skin line--but you'll want to follow up with a shaver if you need a clean up everything. The foil shaver isn't bad. It's not up to the standards of a name brand foil shaver (like Panasonic or Braun), but with some work can get the job done. Certainly, at the price of this kit, it's not a bad starter foil shaver, or good enough for the gym bag. The added attachments for the T-blade clipper pull off / snap on, using a mostly plastic mount (so I worry about long breakage, but they worked fine in my tests). The nose hair attachment works well. The body trimmer attachment isn't as effective as the T-blade, but it's OK. Overall, this is an interesting kit. The T-Blade clipper works as well as most of the T-Blade clippers I've tried and has the bonus of being IPX7 waterproof. The foil shaver is OK, but not amazing. I imagine most will relegate it to occasional use for travel. Pros: ** T-blade clipper PLUS foil shaver ** Multiple attachments for the T-blade clipper ** IPX7 waterproof (both items) ** Clipper and shaver can be locked by pressing power for 3s (good for travel) ** Includes clipper oil ** Three blade foil shaver is somewhat better than common inexpensive 2-blade foil shavers ** Standard USB-C charging port for T-blade trimmer Cons: ** Foils shaver does not use standard USB-C charging port ** Foil shaver feels bulky in the hand
