I’m using this with our square stand and iPad. After sleuthing through Square’s “recommended” / “compatible” list of printers, there was no way I wanted to spend $450 on just a printer. This was less than $300 shipped for both a printer AND cash drawer, and it is perfect!! Setup, from cutting the box open to having both the cash drawer and printer going was less than 15 minutes. While the instruction manual was wildly confusing (to me, at least), I fit the parts together, then used the instructions in the original Amazon listing. I used the included USB cable to wire this system to our square stand, we had zero issues with connectivity. The printer works lightning fast, our first few receipts were a bit spotty but the print quality is improving. The cash drawer opens smoothly and is spacious. I am VERY happy!!! ... show more

I ordered this when I was opening a store and so many POS systems cost anywhere from $800-$2,000. I bought the Square Stand from Best Buy at a discount and a tablet to go with and then the rest from EOM and it was just plug and play. I’ve read some reviews of people saying they had to contact the seller to get help setting it up but the Square Stand automatically recognized it, and what a relief that was since this isn’t a recognize version of what they recommend. So to all you who are thinking of purchasing a Square Stand, this works with it and for a bargain! Now I can scan, print receipts, and handle cash for less than $400! Been using it for a month now. I opened July 11th 2024. If it ever stops working I’ll add an update, but this seems sturdy enough so here’s to hoping for no update! ... show more

I live this cash drawer. The amount of bill slots and coin slots are great and good size as well where the bills ar not cramped in there. The only thing I was not excited about is when you put a large bill in the large bill slot below the drawer sometimes they fall back behind the drawer into the drawer housing. ... show more

UPDATE: The original issue was a software update issue. The system finally connected after 6 solid hours of troubleshooting. I received zero assistance from the seller. Since then, The printer has stopped working, not even a year after purchase! As a small business we cannot afford a replacement at this time. To say that we are less than thrilled with this equipment would be an understatement! If there were any way to give 0 stars, we would. Original post: I just received the Epson printer, and although I am waiting on the cash register, I will be returning BOTH items as this is sold as a bundle. The adverstising is false! This printer does NOT WORK with SQUARE. When I plug in the printer it states that the USB is not supported! So essentially this product is useless to me. I called Epson directly and they tried to sell me a bluetooth device so that I can connect it. Sounds like a scam to me. I then plugged the new printer into my laptop, to try and print a receipt there. The printer prints only a half page of the receipt. Once again, do not purchase this item! I assure you that you will regret it! ... show more
