The POWERTEC MT4009 rolling foldable Table saw stand delivers both rugged work-platform stability for optimal bench top operations, and effortless work- stand mobility/storage for project versatility and convenience. Solid steel plates and steel tubular body offer maximum reliability and top performance. Heavy, large machines, such as table saws can be mounted onto the steel plates or directly on the stand itself, and hardware for each attachment style is included. Its 22-5/8" Bed Height is ideal for use with table and tile saws, And other similar machines. Stand automatically locks securely in upright position, and its handy pin-release lever assists in folding for easy, efficient storage. Can be stored with mounted saw attached in either the vertical position (secured with sturdy wide foot measuring 12" X 21" X 1/2") or in the horizontal position. Adjustable, firmly gripping rubber-stop feet (with locknuts) further enhances crucial stand integrity. A comfortable, wide handle and 8-Inch rubber wheels make for smooth, ergonomic portability. I've done all the research in searching for a quality practical stand. I had upgraded both my saw and stand in the last week. I purchased a DeWalt double bevel compound miter saw. I wanted to stick with the DeWalt stand, however, lacking a few essentials for me prevented me from doing so. So I started looking elsewhere. I am in the trade and use my saw all the time. Truth be told I was using a Harbor freight saw stand which I Loved. I sold my saw with stand. I was now in the hunt for a similar saw stand to the HB one. There were quite a few features about this stand I appreciated. 1. This stand is well built and sturdy. 2. It took me less then 30 minutes to install the separate parts. You really don't need the instructions as it's pretty straightforward mounting the wheels the rollers the outlets etc. 3. I Love the double tube supports? Most only have one time support 4. The 3 outlets attached to this stand I felt was a huge plus! 5. I like the fold out supports at the bottom of front legs too. 6. The rollers on each end of the supports was important for me. For whatever reason, DeWalt stopped making the rollers. The only other one I could find was from Harbor freight. HF heavy duty stand is notable! However, I wanted to search for a different brand. 7. The wheels on this thing are 8" I'm diameter! 8. The handle makes it easy to pull and maneuver. * All in all, I could not be happier with this saw stand! I feel like this is a top rated saw stand! If you are looking for a EXCELLENT Miter Saw Stand this is worth every penny. Excellent design - strong design - simple to use and set up. They should provide more detail on the power strip. It has a male plug on the back side. Power is provided to it with the 6' cord provided or simply plug in to it with the female end of an extension cord. I went to there site and purchased another set of clamps so that I can use with a 2nd device my router. Cost for 2nd set of clamps was only $35. ... show more

All in all its a good product. Only problem I found is if you try to line the fence up with the end of the roller with a slider saw the weight pulls the back down more than the front? The saw has to be centered on the stand. With other stands you can set the saw back farther. I have not found a way to correct this yet. ... show more

This is one of the things I should have bought 10 years ago! I have a compact Ridgid table saw, which has a handle and wheels to make transport easy, but it is either work on the ground or a bit of a time chore setting up two saw horses with planks, or the folding table, securing it ... so, I decided to order this cart. So happy I did! There are a couple reviews that say it is not compatible with Ridgid compact table saws ... Rest assured it is compatible. The saw stand may be one inch too narrow ... but it is a simple fix because you can adjust the feet on the saw! Three things: > the rear feet on the table saw need to be rotated 180 degrees (unscrew, rotate the two halves, refasten) > adjust the plates on the stand to line up with the holes (as instructed) > you need 4 bolts and nuts and locking washers, that will fit the diameter hole of the feet that are long enough to pass through the thick feet. Since I did not have that size on hand, it required a trip to the hardware store and $6. The folding mechanism has worked fine, but I tend to just leave it in open position. It is just so convenient to wheel it out of the garage and have it ready to go. Even rolling it out in the garden to work on the garden shed etc is no effort. Maybe not the easiest because it does not have a long handle, but it moves pretty easily up and down the hill. The only downside I would take half a star off is that it does not have rubber or plastic feet in the upright parking position - so the base will chip, scratch & rust. In a perfect world, for mobile use around jobsites and outside projects, the wheels could be a larger diameter, to roll a bit easier. ... show more

Did a lot of research on this, as I needed a stand for my new Skill 10" sliding compound miter saw. The Powertec, portable miter saw stand is well designed, well built, compact when not in use, and fits my saw perfectly. This Powertec stand appears to be nearly identical to a stand sold by Skill; what sold me on the Powerrtec version is the inclusion of three 110V outlets, which I have found to be very convenient. The stand has two quick-release bracket arms that hold the saw firmly in place. I intend to mount a "universal mounting base" to these arms and use the stand to support a router table, belt grinder, etc. I think this will free up a lot of floor space for me. The stand can support over 300 lbs and is more than stable enough for my needs, but I can't say it is rock solid (and I expect this is true for nearly all of these portable stands). Stop looking! I must say this is truly a well-built unit. Very sturdy. The wheels are metal hubs, with lubed bearings and solid rubber tire. Easy to assemble. Easy to fold. Works like a hand truck to carry your saw around. My only gripe: wish they would have made it with different adjustable heights. Right now there is only one height - 23". A little too low for me. So I will have to build up the height with wood spacing. Now for the good part: This unit is extremely easy to fold up and unfold. Once folded and locked, it is like having your saw on a hand truck! When ready to use, it just glides out of the locked position so effortlessly. Overall great product. ... show more
