The POWERTEC MT4009 rolling foldable Table saw stand delivers both rugged work-platform stability for optimal bench top operations, and effortless work- stand mobility/storage for project versatility and convenience. Solid steel plates and steel tubular body offer maximum reliability and top performance. Heavy, large machines, such as table saws can be mounted onto the steel plates or directly on the stand itself, and hardware for each attachment style is included. Its 22-5/8" Bed Height is ideal for use with table and tile saws, And other similar machines. Stand automatically locks securely in upright position, and its handy pin-release lever assists in folding for easy, efficient storage. Can be stored with mounted saw attached in either the vertical position (secured with sturdy wide foot measuring 12" X 21" X 1/2") or in the horizontal position. This stand is sturdy and beefy. It rolls smoothly and has a small footprint in my garage when it's folded up against the wall. I mounted a SPT70WT worm drive Skilsaw to it. It did require me to drill 4 holes in my table saw to mount it since the SPT70WT did not have pre-drilled holes already. There are a ton of places to mount a saw to this stand, so I doubt there are many portable table saws that won't mount to this. As long as your saw isn't bigger than the platform space, it should mount no problem. This stand is extremely well made for the price and I think it will be a huge improvement to my garage workspace. I love how easy it is to get my saw up and running. I used to have to set up sawhorses and a table top before getting the saw going. Now I just pull the dolly out and fire it up. I recommend this stand, if you are on the fence just buy it. ... show more

I must say this is truly a well-built unit. Very sturdy. The wheels are metal hubs, with lubed bearings and solid rubber tire. Easy to assemble. Easy to fold. Works like a hand truck to carry your saw around. My only gripe: wish they would have made it with different adjustable heights. Right now there is only one height - 23". A little too low for me. So I will have to build up the height with wood spacing. Now for the good part: This unit is extremely easy to fold up and unfold. Once folded and locked, it is like having your saw on a hand truck! When ready to use, it just glides out of the locked position so effortlessly. Overall great product. ... show more

Bought the stand for my new Christmas present Rigid table saw. Stand is very well made and constructed and worth the money compared to some of the other saw horse types and very easy to fold and move saw,but it does not universally for the Rigid saw . Mounting plates full extended come up short , so I moved one place in position to mount the saw then redrilled the mounting plate with 5/16” hole solving the problem with no issue. Would recommend manufacture to slot 1 mounting plate additional 1” to accommodate these saw and yes I know there are many types of saws but these are suppose to be a universal mounting plates … and Rigid is a popular Brand in table saws .. ... show more

    • Nice stand once done but not intuitive or easy

This was a nice solid stand once I got it assembled. The locking mechanism was a little tricky to understand based on the instructions (the pictures did not match the product) but not too hard to figure out just by looking at it. The two items most noteworthy if you are thinking about purchasing this stand are 1)even though the included brackets appear very adjustable, it did not fit my table saw, which is a Craftsman 10 inch table saw. Now I'd have to assume that a Craftsman 10 inch table saw is one of the most popular, best selling table saws in US history, in tens of millions of garages. So that was a surprise. I ended up having to drill a hole through a bracket to make it fit after getting three other holes to line up. 2) The way this saw unfolds is counter-intuitive for me. It is not at all obvious how to get it to open up. The only way I've found to do it is to wedge my foot behind the bar that swings the wheels toward you and use leverage to open it up. Maybe there is a better way but the instructions do not help in this regard. I may put some kind of foot-pad or something on that lower bar to make it easier to pull out. Once the saw is mounted and I manage to get the table opened it is plenty sturdy and seems like a solid, quality stand. Folding it up again is easy. Like many of these rolling stands, it mysteriously has no protection on the bar that rests against the ground or concrete to keep it form getting scratched up and rusted. A little bit of rubber host would go a long way there. ... show more

    • Solves the table saw setup problem!

This is one of the things I should have bought 10 years ago! I have a compact Ridgid table saw, which has a handle and wheels to make transport easy, but it is either work on the ground or a bit of a time chore setting up two saw horses with planks, or the folding table, securing it ... so, I decided to order this cart. So happy I did! There are a couple reviews that say it is not compatible with Ridgid compact table saws ... Rest assured it is compatible. The saw stand may be one inch too narrow ... but it is a simple fix because you can adjust the feet on the saw! Three things: > the rear feet on the table saw need to be rotated 180 degrees (unscrew, rotate the two halves, refasten) > adjust the plates on the stand to line up with the holes (as instructed) > you need 4 bolts and nuts and locking washers, that will fit the diameter hole of the feet that are long enough to pass through the thick feet. Since I did not have that size on hand, it required a trip to the hardware store and $6. The folding mechanism has worked fine, but I tend to just leave it in open position. It is just so convenient to wheel it out of the garage and have it ready to go. Even rolling it out in the garden to work on the garden shed etc is no effort. Maybe not the easiest because it does not have a long handle, but it moves pretty easily up and down the hill. The only downside I would take half a star off is that it does not have rubber or plastic feet in the upright parking position - so the base will chip, scratch & rust. In a perfect world, for mobile use around jobsites and outside projects, the wheels could be a larger diameter, to roll a bit easier. ... show more
