The product arrived as scheduled. The instructions are clear if you understand Ileaish. Take your time reading the instructions. Overall it was fairly easy to assemble. It did take 4 days on my own with a little help with screws and lifting parts. Overall pleased so far.

It was very difficult to assemble. It took us weeks working on it and trying to fit the side pieces on the roof to get it together. I was almost decapitated at one point trying to assist my husband with it. I spent all this money on it for my birthday after wanting one for 8 years only to lose it to Helene. :( It was anchored and should have been heavy enough, but it was picked up and thrown into my fence and the metal it was made of folded like a taco. I’m so disappointed we spent all that time and money to only enjoy it a matter of weeks and now it’s just gone. Insurance doesn’t cover this as it wasn’t attached to the house but patio and it destroyed my wooden fence when it hit. It doesn’t help our house had just flooded for $15k damage, so it was altogether a disappointing time, but I searched for months for reviews that seemed to be sturdy and trusted this would, but it didn’t withstand strong winds. My husband was almost decapitated trying to save it. It flipped over like nothing. Knowing what I know now about assembly, you need a MINIMUM 3 people if not 4 and either all day uninterrupted or the better part of a weekend straight to get it fully assembled. I thought I’d love the curtains until I realized all the bugs and especially black widows did, too. I’d pay someone to assemble if I could ever get another one and opt to not get the curtains. As far as being sun and rain proof, it was great other than right where it’s up against the house/door. You need something to redirect the water from dumping on you as you walk out. I’d try it again if we could afford it and do it differently and I hate to give a bad review as I never leave reviews, but I’m so disappointed we lost so much money in this almost immediately. :( It looked nice by the house. It was sturdy until the wind blew, but then then metal legs literally bent until they snapped on the weak side and it just took it and flipped it into my house barely missing the house siding on that corner. It landed on my wooden fence and gate and my metal trailer I haul trash off with. Luckily, it got caught on the trailer, because that’s the only thing that saved it from going through my neighbor’s kitchen.

Holes, etc. all lined up. No missing hardware/fasteners. Assemble was by the instructions. Takes 2 people and a day or two. Easy to get cut installing the steel roof plates. Ten cuidado.

This gazebo is nice looking, sturdy and provides the shade I needed. It took my husband and 3 other men 5 hours to assemble . We are enjoying it and would recommend.

I would love to give more than 3 starts but I feel duped with this order. I was really happy to find this on Amazon, we had a cheaper tent style gazebo, but living in FL, the sun killed the tent cover in less than a year. Plus it was flimsy. This is beautiful, BUT, the size is not correct. After we had it mostly built, we kept second guessing the size. It is advertised as 10X12, but measurements are ACTUALLY 8X10. Very much smaller than the tent we had. So, if purchasing this, be aware! Secondly, reading how "easy" it was to put together is not really true. My husband has been building things for more than 30 years, he used to build shipping trailers for a living. And although I am not as strong, I am pretty handy with tools. this is a weekend project, no way 2 people can build it in 6 hours. Some holes were not where they were supposed to be, or non existent and we had to drill them ourselves. Roof is made of aluminum type material, it is very sharp and cut our hands and fingers more than once. (wear gloves when doing roof). Roof pieces are "wiggly" and a little difficult to get and keep in place. You will have to be on a ladder for this, definitely a 2 person job, at least. This project took us 2 1/2 days to build. I would love to give more stars, but disappointed in the size. We kept because I didn't want to wait for and build another one.
