I saw these shelves and thought they looked really nice so I figured I'd give them a shot for a newly painted room. I won't say I'm a master craftsman or specialize in home decorating, but I'm not exactly thrilled at how the screws are not flush with the brackets. And it isn't due to me not being proficient in using a power tool, it doesn't matter how much you tighten these screws they will not be flush with the brackets, and it was the same with all three shelves. The wood is also very light and FEELS flimsy, but it's actually able to hold a bit of weight. Just don't put anything too dense or heavy and they should be fine. I also feel like these shelves should only be oriented one way, with the brackets pointing down (the two shelves next to each other) instead of using it as a "hanging" orientation (the single unit). It looks nice enough from a distance, and as long as nobody really looks at the brackets or the side of the shelf too closely then it's fine, but if you're the type of person to notice something like this then maybe look for something else. I will state that they give you a few extra screws and anchors in the event you mess up hammering an anchor or strip a screw, and the box was nice and neatly packed. The instructions were also pretty easy to follow too. Honestly for about $20 I'd say you get what you paid for. Not bad, but not great either. 4 Stars. ... show more

These are nice shelves for the price. I like that they're deeper than many others at 8 inches instead of 6. The wood is light and easy to install, but be aware, it scratches easily. Be careful when installing. I might suggest a clear coat of polyurethane to harden it and give it a glossy shine.

Nice shelves. Sturdy! Easy to hang. Came with plenty of screws plus extras. No missing parts. Instructions were straight to the point. Met my expectations. Nice quality. I did notice the complaints being true when it comes to the screws being flush with the wall / bracket… It wasn’t a dealbreaker for me since you can’t really tell unless you look really hard —-> and they shouldn’t be lookin that hard lol ... show more
