Yeah, it's coiled very tightly so the last few feet are tighter than ideal. Overall, the quality seems good. I used this with an in-ceiling MLZ-KX09NL system instead of the factory hose. If you wrap the nipple on the MLZ with a few winds of the tape in this drain kit, it fits real well. Of course, use the clamp. The MLZ nipple is just an odd size and if you use the Mitsubishi hose you have to glue it with PVC glue. Bummer if it ever has to come out. If you run this hose inside of your attic without insulation around it you will have condensation issues. Best to use the self bonding 3/4 ID black rubber insulation sold at the HD to wrap around this pipe indoors. Although pricey at $10 per 6 ft, the cost of redoing your plaster/plasterboard ceiling is much higher. This is a one time sunk cost. With the cost of 1/4|3/8 minisplit line being, at best, $3/ft for 164 ft, you're going to cheap out here? ... show more

Good enough hose, fits well, no idea yet how it will hold up to UV, installed in winter. Only negative is that it was coiled a bit too tightly for shipping, took a set, and was not too easy to get it to relax and lay straight.

This hose should work on just about any mini-split. I used it on an EG4 Hybrid 12KWhr set up on the second story of my home. It was more than long enough to achieve the task. Highly recommended for the price and footage.
