I used this single-burner induction cooktop mainly for hotpot, and overall it performs well for that purpose. In terms of heating power, it’s strong and responsive. The 1800W output brings broth to a boil fairly quickly and maintains a steady simmer once adjusted, which is important for hotpot where you’re cooking gradually rather than blasting heat nonstop. The 9 power levels make it easy to dial things down after boiling so ingredients don’t overcook. The LCD touch controls are straightforward and responsive, and switching between power levels during the meal is simple. I didn’t really rely on the preset cooking modes for hotpot, but they’re a nice option if you want something more automated. The cooktop is also compact and portable, which makes it convenient to place directly on the dining table without taking up too much space. My only real complaint is the fan noise. It does get a little loud, especially at higher power levels, but it’s still bearable and didn’t ruin the experience. The noise is noticeable rather than distracting, and once the heat is lowered, it becomes less prominent. I’m giving this 4 stars instead of 5 mainly due to the fan noise. Otherwise, for hotpot use—fast heating, stable performance, and easy controls—it does the job well and is a solid option if you want a portable induction cooktop for shared meals. ... show more

I picked this up because our kitchen stove only has four burners, and during big family dinners or holidays, things get crowded fast. I originally looked at induction cooktops, but I didn't want to have to buy a whole new set of "induction-compatible" pots and pans. The best thing about this unit is that it handles everything. I’ve used my heavy cast iron skillet, my regular stainless steel pots, and even a small ceramic pot on it without any issues. Here’s what I’ve noticed after a few weeks of use: Heats up fast: It gets to temperature much quicker than I expected for a plug-in unit. It’s perfect for boiling water or a quick stir-fry. Simple Controls: The touch screen is intuitive. You don't really need the manual to figure out the power levels or the timer. Easy Cleanup: Since the top is just one flat piece of glass, you can just wipe it down with a damp cloth once it cools off. Safety: The lock feature is a nice touch if you have kids around, and it feels sturdy on the counter—it doesn't slide around when you're stirring. It’s small enough that I can tuck it away in a cabinet when I don't need it, but it looks nice enough to leave out. Size: Single Burner Induction Cooktop
I ordered this because I have a small outdoor area that I cook in. I have a grill and a small refrigerator and I really was tired of running back and forth into the house because I was cooking something on the stove. This arrived quickly and I really like it. It works with the pots I already have, so that is good. I use this outside on the counter near my grill. It has 6 different preset modes and even has a timer! You can adjust the temperture to what you want and you can even lock it, a great feature if there are little ones out there. It's very easy to wipe down to keep it clean. It heats up to the temperture very quickly. It even has a warning light to let you know the surface is still hot, after you turn it off. That's a nice safety feature The only negative I can say is that there is a bit of noise with the fan, especially at the higher settings. Inside the house, it's annoying but outside, there's so much noise anyway it isn't that noticeable. The price point is good for what you can do with this ... show more
