I was surprised at the good quality of wood in the kit. This was my first experience with Handy Home and did not know what to expect. You definitely need some basic skills (or help) for assembly but instructions were excellent, the order of assembly left little room for error and the end result looks great! Extra package material was a bonus and I have that wood left over for a few shelves. I priced options with and without floor and I would recommend buying kit with floor -- the materials were about 10% cheaper than if I had to make my own floor from the lumber store. ... show more

    • Missing parts but already had I started putting it together.
Instructions were hard to decipher lots of little strange pieces. Person putting it together has many years of construction practice, and he was flabbergasted at the instructions as well as the materials and missing materials

    • Everything looks pretty decent
Realize they don't want to ship twelve foot lumber but this would be far better if they did. Also shorted me two eight foot 2x4's. I'll update if I find more stuff missing.
