I've heard about these TMR sticks for a while, but only recently bought me a pair. Installation was relatively smooth for me, about 30 minutes of my time, and calibrating them was easier than I thought. There are instructions and an installation video that you can follow if it seems daunting, just take your time and don't rush. One thing I did notice is that the right stick makes a slight noise whenever I move the stick towards the top left all the way, but during normal play it never really pops up. Just something to keep in mind.

Old sticks were sticking and not working. These were a bit tricky to install, but follow the online configuration guide and it works.

These are a game-changer, and it makes me wonder why more handhelds aren’t shipped with Hall Effect joysticks by default. They’re incredibly precise (make sure to lower the dead zones as much as possible) and feel much smoother/snappier to use. I did have issues with them at first - both joysticks were unable to be centered regardless of calibration - but customer service rectified the issue incredibly quickly. Upon reaching out to them, I just had to provide and address and they immediately sent a replacement free of charge. The replacements work perfectly! Overall, they’re a very worthwhile upgrade, and I highly recommend these over other options due to the fantastic customer service.

Best thing I have invested in by far for my Ally X. It super easy to install and configure. Plus there is a lot of YouTube videos that help you install this. However, I am starting to see a small noise issue. When I grad my thumb stick all the way to left or right and let go, the joystick will return to the center with a rattling noise. I don't know if that is normallyz but only happenens for left stick, while my right stick doesn't make that rattling sound. So keep that in the back of your head. Dont know if this has happened to anyone or it is just me.

The sticks have a bit more resistance and feel great. Installation was easy and painless. A big upgrade from the ally x's stock sticks

Definitely buy this! For me, it's a night and day difference. A lot smoother and nicer to use. The center click also seem a little easier to push down, maybe a con for some but, a pro for me. Installation was easy with good video instructions via the QR code .
