They work. Read the instructions. Be sure you calibrate as intended with the two buttons on the back of each of the joystick boards. Calibration may take a few times on the boards themselves AND the armory crate calibration. Once it’s all good it works amazing. Very simple installation process. CAREFUL OF YOUR RIBBON CABLES! Be sure to pull your latches so those ribbon cables don’t rip! I think they’re roughly ass stiff as the stock joysticks on the ROG ALLY X. In general the ALLY X stock sticks ARE stiffer than the ROG ALLY (white model) however this is still a fantastic upgrade and makes driving accuracy and aiming in FPS games super smooth and very accurate. If yours are not accurate, recalibrate both the two boards AND armory crate until it’s how it should be. Easy to understand instructions. 10/5.

These joysticks are better than the stock. Obviously, hall effect can have issues but I haven't experienced any with these. Calibrating is easy and it's pretty much plug and play. It also gets rid of some really jarring axial deadzones the original Ally comes with. One of my favorite features is definitely the tighter feel. I am more accurate in first person shooters because of this. Amazing product!

These new TMR joysticks are so much better than the stock ones that come with the Rog Ally X. They are tighter feeling, but they also feel so much smoother once they are calibrated. Before installing these I would avoid playing fps games, because it felt a bit off with the circularity. Now it's so much easier to aim with these. Once I received them, in the box has instructions and a QR code to take you to the website with a video detailing how to install and calibrate them. It was so easy. Highly recommend these to anyone looking to upgrade their Ally X. These are better than normal hall effect sticks.

These are great replacements for your Rog Ally X. They can be a little intimidating if you're not familiar with them. You will need to watch some instruction videos on it. My tip would be make sure that you don't over tighten, but get it tight enough to where it stays in place. Then the calibration process you just have to have patience for it. I think I remember the right stick only taking 1 minute to calibrate. But my left stick I had problems with and I think it took like 15 or 20 minutes to calibrate correctly. I will say that the r3 and l3 buttons where you click these in to activate those, does feel like you have to press harder compared to the originals. I would have liked to see them be a little easier to press but at the same time, you're not going to accidentally press them in. When they are set up correctly, they feel more precise and they feel more accurate.

Best thing I have invested in by far for my Ally X. It super easy to install and configure. Plus there is a lot of YouTube videos that help you install this. However, I am starting to see a small noise issue. When I grad my thumb stick all the way to left or right and let go, the joystick will return to the center with a rattling noise. I don't know if that is normallyz but only happenens for left stick, while my right stick doesn't make that rattling sound. So keep that in the back of your head. Dont know if this has happened to anyone or it is just me.

Came in quick and couldn’t have been happier with them. Installed them into my ROG Ally X, simple install, feel smooth, and came in already perfectly calibrated. Definitely feel a difference with FPS games on how snappy they feel. Definitely recommend these if you still have the stock sticks installed just be sure your careful when installing for any ribbon cables.
