As a toddler and dog mom, this steam cleaner made its way to the top of my must-have list. I love my light-colored sneakers, and my little one and dog love mud, water, and pretty much anything dirty. My family's not the type to be super careful in where they walk, so after a rainy day or trip, I end up with a pile of dirty shoes to clean. Here's why I like it: - It's just easy, and the task feels less daunting. I can clean shoes faster than I did before, which gives me time to do other things. - The tiny brushes were great and accessories included really had function in mind. They can reach into the nooks and crannies of tiny shoes or even some of the detailing on my shoes. My toddler's shoes were nice and clean after my little one found and proceeded to stomp around in a mud pit. (I did wear some gloves and tongs when cleaning my toddler's sneakers just because there's only so little shoe I can hold on to.) - I think it was great from a value perspective. The accessory set pretty much covers what you need. It's nice to pick up something and not need to spend more on additional add-ons. The quality feels good, too, and so far it's keeping up with heavy family use. - I don't know if it's the steam or just that they're clean, but the shoes smell fresher after the cleaning. - It's not that heavy. This might not be so important if you are an occasional cleaner, but weight really factors in for me when those messes start piling on. Overall, this is small and packs fairly well. It won't take up that much suitcase space, so I can take it on family trips, where my family will undoubtedly get into more messes on all the adventures we go on. I hate packing dirty shoes for the trip back. It's also nice that my shoes will not smell up the suitcase that much at the end of the trip.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ – Honestly, I Didn’t Think It Would Work This Well I’ll be real—I was pretty skeptical when I ordered this. I’ve tried a bunch of shoe cleaners before, and they either barely made a difference or took forever to use. But SteamZap completely surprised me. The first thing I tested it on was an old pair of white sneakers I was about ready to toss. Within minutes, the dirt and scuff marks just melted away. Even the stubborn creases on the toe box smoothed out like magic. The steam also completely got rid of that not-so-fresh smell inside the shoes—something no wipe or spray has ever done for me. It’s super easy to use, heats up fast, and the attachments actually make sense (I love the small brush for getting into tight spots). My sneakers honestly look like they’ve had a professional cleaning. If you’ve been on the fence like I was, trust me—give it a try. You’ll be just as surprised as I was.

This steamer works great ! I sanitized and cleaned a pair of casual shoes and they came out like new. Also cleaned an old pair of sneakers that I was going to throw out, they also cleaned up nicely. The quality of this unit and the attachments cannot be beat, not to mention the packing !!! On a side note this unit can be used to clean stubborn items besides shoes.

This Handheld Shoe Steam Cleaner is such a great idea! I am a shoe person, and often my summer shoes become stinky inside due to sweat that builds up inside over time and permeates the insole. This was my main reason for ordering this shoe cleaning machine. I love the fact that it can deep clean and deodorize suede, leather, fabric, etc. I dread when my favorite high-quality sandals become smelly and stained from sweat build-up. This happens often on the insole, on scorching hot days. I don’t want to dispose of these sweat-stained shoes after sandal season just because they smell (but still look good on the outside). I have tried various spray-on cleaners to help with the smell on the insoles, but they only help somewhat. I much prefer to use this steam cleaner to actually deep-clean the insoles, and not just partially clean and cover up the smell with spray-on cleaners. This handheld shoe steam cleaner does a much deeper and more thorough job. It uses only water to remove dirt, grime, and sweat buildup from all kinds of shoe materials. It also heats up quickly (30 seconds) and cleans like a professional cleaner would. It’s not a big production if I’m in a hurry to get out the door with clean shoes! It’s like taking my shoes to the dry cleaner every time I use it, whether for quick touch-ups or a more thorough cleaning. This machine has five attachments for “Deep Cleaning, Deodorizing, Wrinkle & Crease Removal” and it’s safe for “Suede, Leather, Mesh, Fabric” … as per their ad copy. I haven’t tried it on all of those materials, but I have tried it on the suede-like insoles in my expensive sandals, and thankfully, it worked great to clean and deodorize them! I wish I had known this machine existed before I disposed of some sandals unnecessarily in the past due to their sweaty odor buildup! So, I'm happy that what has been a very frustrating shoe cleaning issue for me in the past is no longer!

My hubby got these for certain shoes but It’s nice to know that we can use them for many kinds of shoes like sandals. It’s a steamer that helps lifts dirt and scuffing. You will still have to use your own shoe brush to scrub after steaming but it will make that job a whole lot easier. I used a simple cleaning solution but the company has solutions that are sold separately. It does a good job and will make a man look more dapper and a woman more dainty with cleaner shoes. And, not that it totally matters, but I must say that the packaging is absolutely a nice high-end setup.
