Good nano spray mist. Has a slight smell. I used it outside with a mask and eyewear. It doesn't leave any residue. I tried it on brand new Adidas suede and fake suede shoes. I will try on my Uggs too for the Fall. I haven't tested in rain but will update my review when I see it works to 5-stars.

So I shopped around a bit, and decided to go with this product!! Absolutely thrilled with the results. I have to have specific shoes for my feet that work with my job, they are a woven type of slip on shoe. Walking through the parking lot in the rain always lefts me with soggy cold toes. Not anymore!!! I did about 3 coats on them, per instructions, it rained the other day and I walked through puddles on purpose, no water at all!!! I'm so happy!! Especially since it's cold now. My feet and socks stayed dry!!! Absolutely give this a try if your looking for water repellent. Good stuff. Will definitely buy again.

4 pairs of woman’s size 8’s double coated leather and tan suede. No discoloration or streaks. Mild scent but not strong & offensive like Scotch Guard. Even sprayer. Smooth coating, no drips, clogs or chokes. I can’t say how well the product protects but the application was a breeze. If it works at blocking stains I’d DEFINITELY absorb the cost of upgrading from Scotch guard.

So far, so good. Sprays easily. Nozzle worked - no leaking, no clogging up. Sprays evenly when depressed evenly. Stinky - spray outside to avoid fumes - spray “downwind” so you are not inhaling vapor. Takes FOREVER to dry! This is not a “spray and wear” spray. Working outside under an wood awning seating area, I sprayed, then hung coats and set out boots in sun to dry. Started around 10am. Outside temperature over 80 degrees F. 1-1/2 hours later, nothing was dry enough to wear, but was dry enough to then apply second coat. Waited 2 1/2 hours from first start. Better … not dry enough yet to put away items. Just left stuff out in sun…. Around 3:30pm, I went out to check and things were damp dry, better, but not enough to put boots back in boxes. I left in water closet / bathroom / loo whatever (you want to call yours ) overnight to continue drying. ( pleather coats I hung up, boots on counter under bright ceiling heat lamps.) By morning these were dry enough to put away. I wasn’t a heavy sprayer. I followed directions. Quantity was plenty - and this seems to protect against stains well. Something liquid was splashed on my fake suede red boots and stain easily wiped off clean.

I've been using the etching Shoe Protector for several weeks now, and I’m genuinely impressed. I applied it as directed on my white sneakers and a pair of suede boots — the results were amazing. Water literally rolls off the surface without leaving stains, and it also keeps away dust and everyday grime. Another big plus is that it doesn't change the color or texture of the shoes, which was something I was concerned about, especially with delicate materials. The smell is mild and fades quickly after spraying. One bottle also goes a long way — I managed to treat several pairs of shoes with just one.

The smell of this spray is really awful. Gag!!! Make sure to follow instructions about applying the spray outdoors and down wind! I wish I had worn a mask – I recommend it. I won’t know till tomorrow if the smell dissipates. The newly treated shoes/boots are in my garage for the night. I sure hope I didn’t just destroy 3 pairs of very nice shoes and boots. Very easy to apply though. Just now walked into the garage to take a photo and the smell isn’t so bad. It seems to be dissipating. fingers crossed.😊
