Just because something is more expensive (cough shoe mgk, shoe rejuvin8r cough) doesn’t mean it’s better! I use Jason Markk on all of my shoes and have never had a problem with discoloration or oil spots. This stuff is the best stuff I’ve ever used! I will not use any other product! If you can ever snag your hands on some, I recommend you do yourself and your shoes a favor and grab it! It doesn’t have an overly perfume scent, it smells really clean. I DO RECOMMEND HOWEVER; if cleaning suede, be very gentle and make sure your brush isn’t overly wet with solution/water! ... show more

I was really looking forward to the results this product claims to produce. Especially that it was safe to use on all colors and materials. I had a slightly darkened area on a pair of shoes that I hoped to remove. What this product did was strip the color leaving a mark worse than what I had before. If you have shoes you love but need a slight cleanup then DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT!!!! I'm grateful the area damaged is small enough that it won't likely be noticed by others but I'm extremely upset that it's completely ruined a favorite pair of shoes. Look at the picture, it changed the color of my shoes by at least 5 shades darker. It also left water stains in the shoes. Look at the pictures! I ended up my shoes under a faucet to get the stains off then I let it air dry to a point when the leather was damp then I used honey leather conditioner and it brought them back to life. This product ruined my new white shoes(I had a small dirt stain I wanted to clean). Once dry,it leaves behind a yellow patchy appearance, as some other reviewers have mentioned. Do not purchase this for white canvas shoes. It might be ok for other materials but this was a no go for me. Dawn and warm water with the premium brush does a much better job than this. Thankfully I was able to salvage my shoes this way- in case it happened to anyone else. Hydrogen peroxide also helps remove those yellow stains. ... show more

I have used many shoe cleaners for my shoes, and this has to be the best. First of all, the smell is really nice. It smells fruity, somewhat like grapes. It has very nice foaming action, and is able to get a lot of the dirt and dust off the shoe. I use this for sensitive shoes too, like my Off White Air Force 1's (OG). The shoes are sensitive to yellowing, and I trust this product on it. It, along with Crep Protect, has kept it from yellowing too much, even to a year's worth of near daily wear. This is the best shoe cleaner out there! if you scuffed your shoes, it won't repair them but if they have dirt, debris, etc. It will definitely clean them. You can always do a 2nd pass at them with the cleaner if needed. My white shoes that have been dirty and no longer longer had the color, was brought back to life and look brand new again. LOL why is Amazon asking my how my shoe cleaner fits? Really nice shoe detergent. The stuff seems really mild but seems to do a particularly nice job with shoe material, canvas, and the like. I've used spray cleaners, foamers, and a few others from Foot Locker, etc., but this shoe cleaner is my absolute favorite. It seems to work the best and you can use it on pretty much every material.
