The reviews are not great for this little guy but I got a working one... It comes with a sample piece of fabric that I practiced with. Tying the knot at the end of your stitch is not easy and I had to watch YouTube a few times but I think I got the hang of it now. I posted a pic of the diagram instructions on how to tie a knot. I could not figure out the diagram lol... I didn't have batteries so I have mine plugged into my USB. Seems to be working fine plugged in. The instructions suggest to use for 10 seconds and then pause for 5 or something of the sort...im a very new beginner and did not need to sew more than a few seconds at a time. If you have a sewing machine and are not a beginner then this is not for you. If you are looking for a machine to do quuck repairs or use on simple thin material and quick projects then u will like this as much as I do... ... show more

This thing cant sew anything thicker then 1mm . It gets stuck even on thin materials and u have to pry the jaws open and bang it to get it to start again. Most of the time it wont work at all when you press the button. Got to return this and get a normal sewing machine

Stopped sewing and have had issues since I went over layer of material to thick. Haven't tried changing needle or adjusting it to see if it works again. Sewing kit is nicev when machine stopped working because I could finish project by hand
