I won’t lie. When our HVAC gave out, we needed more than these handheld fans to get by. But they made a HUGE difference, including on the 4th of July when the temps were still above 90 after dark. We stayed completely comfortable. And even during the hottest part of the day, we could sit on our porch chairs and keep cool (when it was well over 90) . These are durable enough that they should last for years (I’ve dropped one twice with no problems), have multiple power and speed options, are easily carried because they’re lightweight and have the bonus of a clip so you can attach the fan to a nearby side table or shelf and not have to continually hold it. This handheld fan is not the cheap fan with a water sprayer that you see at the common sports store, grocery store or flee market. It is heavy duty. It has three speeds with or without water spray; however, the best water spray experience is at the lowest setting. The 6 fin fan has three large blades and three tiny blades. Why did you pick this product vs others?: My previous fan sprayer quit working after a couple years and I needed to replace it. I didn’t want another one with batteries so I chose this one. It also includes a cord to hang it from something but as nothing is nearby I’m not sure if I will use this or not. It is a good idea. Overall I like it a lot. Pros: uses a USB-C charger, the same as my other electronic devices so it’s one less charger I to need to keep track of. It’s truly a mister with a fine mist rather than a spray bottle as my previous one was, because that tended to drench me. The mister control is separate from the fan and stays on so I don’t have to squeeze with my hand. I will report back on how long the water tank lasts when I have hot water. Cons: there’s a little squeeze bottle to refill the water tank attached to the top of the fan. I’m assuming the intent here is to avoid getting the fan electronics in the handle wet. I do not want to need to keep track of a separate refill bottle so I’ll be filling the device directly from the faucet and hope I don’t damage the fan if it gets wet.
