    • I love this thing!
OK, so I just got it a couple of hours ago so I have only used it once. I bought this because I have been making milkshakes every night. My milkshakes are ice cream, milk, chocolate syrup. Don't know how this will work with frozen fruit, etc since I haven't tried that yet. I have used three other machines for this. I used a Kiosh (sp) that I have had for a good while. It struggles some because I like my shakes thick. It's been giving off a burning smell the last several times I used it so I thought I'd better think about replacing it. I bought an Oster blender because I really wanted a glass container. I bought the one that has the to go cup with it. I hated the to go cup. Too small of an opening. Machine worked ok but not great. Then I bought a Ninja Smoothie maker. That works well but it is SO LOUD. It also is a lot more machine than I need. I would keep it if it weren't SO LOUD. So, then I saw this. Looked like just what I wanted. Glass container. 20 oz. Removable gasket for better cleaning (that Ninja stank and I couldn't remove the gasket). As soon as this arrived I washed it and tried it out. 1. It is loud but not as loud as the Ninja. You only need a few pulses, so it isn't bad. 2. A few pulses and my shake was mixed nicely. 3. So easy to clean! I poured my shake into a cup and then put a drop of dish washing liquid into the jar and a little water. Put it on the machine and pulsed it a few times. Took it apart, rinsed it and put it to dry. 4. Glass container. Yes! Nice and thick so won't break easily. The top fits snuggly, too. 5. Perfect size for me. The Kiosh was too small at 16oz. The Ninja was too big at 24oz. This one is 20 oz. 6. I really like the pulse button. I can control how much it mixes. Also, I did not like having to hold the cup down on the Kiosh for it to work and didn't feel like I had as much control with the Ninja. I love this thing! I don't know how long it will last, but if it keeps working like it did today, I will be a very happy milkshake maker! I will update as needed. ... show more

It’s awesome! I just don’t like that it’s thick glass. It’s really heavy and I’m clumsy. Many near explosion experiences. It does blend pretty well. Sometimes stuff gets stuff and you have to pulse the button rather than letting it fully blend. I like that it’s a button so you have that control. The button has to be held down to continue the blending. Once you let go, it stops blending. It does lock into place well and it’s pretty easy to clean. This was a win for me because I’m super lazy. I have a vitamix that works wonders but the thing is huge and I hate cleaning it every time I even make small stuff. Decent buy though. If I break it, I mmmaaayyyy buy another. Depends on if I have to learn a lesson by the heavy glass. ... show more

Got this blender for my grandson (with disabilities) who loves smoothies and milkshakes. I showed him how to use it the first time and supervised him using it the second time. He is able to make his smoothies by himself now. This blender works well. Haven’t tried it with ice cubes, but we’ve added crushed ice and had no problems blending. This is perfect for a daily single shake. Not as powerful as I thought but it’s good. I have other items in the same brand and they haven’t disappointed yet.

    • Pretty good little blender
I'm quite happy with this purchase, i can make different protein smoothies. The only bad thing is, the mouth end chipped a little bit when on the process of shipping. Other than that, it's great!

I used the older models with a plastic pitcher for years. Then they wouldn't engage with the motor all too often for some reason. But this one is much more powerful and lightweight, but solid, because of the glass. An idea long overdue. Well worth paying $15 more than the cheaper, less reliable models.     • This is a mighty little workhorse
It handles a variety of frozen fruits and veggies like a champ. Even flax seeds disappear with a little extra blending time. I love that it is glass and easy and quick to clean.
