Very sheer, barely a hint of green

The photos of the painted nails in the product description are so misleading for Smelon like Summer. It is soooo incredibly sheer. After 3 coats there is barely a hint of green. What a disappointment. This looked like a great polis of St. Pattys day. Now it will sit unused. What a waste of money.

Great polish, but it's not red

Insta-dry is great stuff, and I will definitely use this - but to clarify for other shoppers, ignore the "red nail polish" in the product title description. It is very transparent, sparkly, ORANGE. Will make a cool top coat on any solid polish in the orange/peach/coral/rust color family.

Great Barbie girl color!!! Pops and stands out. Just need to put on a good base coat and a great top coat to make these insta drys stay on longer and not chip. If you don’t then the durability is not so great. But I noticed if I put on a nail strengthening polish first this stays on a lot longer. The shine is great with a good top coat.

Not what I thought.

I was disappointed. The picture makes it appear that it’s a shiny red, but it’s actually a transparent red. It would make a good top coat over a red polish.

very pretty (does not smell like cherry for curious minds)

This is a very glass-like jelly, so you will never achieve full opacity if that is what you are looking for. There is not an ounce of milkiness to this formula, it is like pure cherry jello on the nails. I am wearing very cherry jello in three coats here, over one coat of base coat from kbshimmer, and with glitter toppers layered in between coats. I also used a scented top coat so I can pretend that very cherry jelly smells like fruit on its own lol.

Makes me want a Ring Pop!

This is with 4 layers and shiny top coat. I love it! The jelly effect I was looking for. I also love it with sparkles, it is more fun, but I am 47 so I settle with the jelly look. I also put a quick dry top coat because with all the layers, it doesn't dry fast enough.
