I have purchased a couple different RUFFWEAR dog harnesses, and unfortunately, the sizing just doesn't work for my dog. The Medium is too tight, and the Large is too large. No matter how much I adjust this harness (L), it was loose on my dog. No matter how loose I made the medium side harnessed, it was too tight on my dog. Here is a HUGE DISCLAIMER: I have another dog that can fit comfortably in both the medium AND the large. The good boy who doesn't fit has a very deep chest. This is the problem. There Harnesses are not a good fit for my slim, deep chested, handsome boy. His sister, an Australian Shepherd mix, fills in the gaps with her luxurious thick coat, and she looks darn fine doing it. ... show more

My dog (who can be an escape artist) is unable to escape Ruffwear harnesses. He has the flagline, webmaster, and now the switchbak. All three are great. Opted for this current switchbak one for the full chest piece and less movement from side to side compared to the webmaster.     • Solid product love the small storage pockets. It is bulky like a lifejacket almost
Grat solid product have a goldendoodke full size and she is built like a poodle big chest and so hard to find a harness to fit purchased the large as that is where she measured but the straps tighten down but don't hold the loosen as she walks. The tummy strap is no where close to fitting her slim tummy. Needs to find a way to hold the tighten shape on front ... show more

We needed a harness for our whippet. He had to get staples in his neck due to a dog bite so we needed something that would sit lower on his shoulders and this harness did the trick. I also like that it's three point because our whippet can sometimes wiggle out of regular harnesses due to his body shape. Has pockets so he can carry his poop bags with him.
